Mirror Backup protects from data loss by continuously monitoring files and folders, and backing them up to the cloud, local drive, or network share when they change. It does this in a background service that does not require a user to be logged in - perfect for company servers. It can also keep incremental backups, when you want a history of each file's changes. In some situations, this design is more desirable than whole-disk backups. And if the worst should happen, you can restore a backup with just a few clicks.

Same, borgmatic has been running flawlessly for a long time, itโs great. Also backing up to a Hetzner storagebox, so itโs quite cheap too. https://torsion.org/borgmatic/. - Source: Hacker News / 12 months ago
You could use Syncthing just to empty the incoming files from your phone (ingest) and then move the photos via cron to a second folder (also Syncthing) which is just shared with the replicas. Another approach would be to push the files from Syncthing to borg (borgmatic can do replicas) https://torsion.org/borgmatic/. - Source: Hacker News / about 1 year ago
Works a treat with borgmatic https://torsion.org/borgmatic. - Source: Hacker News / over 1 year ago
Not really dumb. I do use them too but with Borgbackup on the top (since they support it natively). I found Borgmatic ( https://torsion.org/borgmatic/ ) to be the best way to run my backups. It takes care of everything from pruning to verifying the checksum etc... And it integrates with some monitoring (like cronitor). So Borgmatic + rsync.net is the best combo. - Source: Hacker News / about 2 years ago
