Bobby is a tray app (Windows, Mac, soon: Linux) that converts and backs up all your Google Docs to your desktop or local storage (usb drive, network drive, etc.) in a usable format (pdf, docx, etc.).

I've only had B2 for a couple months and only started actually using it in the last month. I've done a couple operations using their CLI tool, mainly created app keys with more granular permissions than the web interface. My main backup is using Duplicati to upload to a bucket.
