I moved from 1Password to Bitwarden about half a year ago. I never looked back, and I've never missed anything. The UI might be a touch clunkier than 1Password, but it's still good and perfectly usable on the whole. What is more, it is open-source and people can inspect its code.
Based on our record, bitwarden seems to be a lot more popular than coderpad. While we know about 613 links to bitwarden, we've tracked only 18 mentions of coderpad. We are tracking product recommendations and mentions on various public social media platforms and blogs. They can help you identify which product is more popular and what people think of it.
The public keys and ~/.ssh/config are committed as plain files, the private halves are rendered from Bitwarden at apply time and never touch git. The same mechanism fills in per-machine values — my .chezmoi.toml.tmpl pulls a few cloud subscription IDs from a Bitwarden item so the helper scripts in ~/.local/bin know which subscription to talk to without those IDs living in a public repo. - Source: dev.to / 9 days ago
I use bitwarden[0]. It covers all cases and devices in question. As a bonus, I self host using the open source vaultwarden[1] server implementation, which is packaged in alpine linux. [0] https://bitwarden.com/. - Source: Hacker News / about 1 month ago
A more secure option is to use a password manager/vault application with Console integration, like Bitwarden, vault, pass, etc. Some will allow you to launch applications with environment variables pulled from secure storage. - Source: dev.to / 5 months ago
For solo developers: Skip Dashlane Premium unless you specifically need the built-in VPN. Bitwarden Premium at $3/month offers 90% of the functionality for 40% less money. - Source: dev.to / 6 months ago
Replace your password manager with Bitwarden, self-hosted and secure 2. - Source: dev.to / 7 months ago
Some companies use things like CoderPad or Google Docs (yes, Google really used to use Google Docs). Those don't let you run the code either so they're more like whiteboards. Source: over 3 years ago
I am a CS major with a computer engineering minor. I want to prepare myself to apply for an Embedded Engineering Internship. The interview process includes a coding task on coderpad.io, I have no clue what to expect - what kind of questions will be asked for an embedded internship? I say this because coding embedded systems is rather different from "regular" coding in practice. High level v low level. Source: over 3 years ago

I am prepping for a final round interview for a frontend position at a medium size company. The recruiter gave me some information about one of the coding rounds and I am not entirely sure what to expect. The description says I will be building a fullstack web app, and the goal is to test my frontend and backend knowledge, and get a working solution. I will be using https://excalidraw.com/ in addition to... Source: almost 4 years ago
The specific target interview format I have in mind is via a shared, live editor (e.g. https://coderpad.io/) and a video link, lasting ~1hr. The practice format might be more like 45min for the interview followed by 15 - 30min for feedback and discussion. Doing two of those back to back so both of us get our chance in the hot seat could be exhausting, so this might be two separate sessions. Source: almost 4 years ago
