I am Wordpress newbie. BeyondWords plugin works well in my blog website (I am using free version of Vantage theme). No problem at all thus far. Very easy to set up and this plugin read out my website automatically. Read out in Mandarin and English like human being, sweet and professional. I am using free version. Many choices of voice to choose from.

Just did a quick Google search because I'm sure something like this must exist. This one looked interesting since you can apparently "clone" your voice. So then you can listen to the articles read in your own voice ๐ . Source: over 5 years ago

Capture2Text is FOSS. It uses Tesseract as it's OCR engine, which is great as you can use different language data files to find the one that is the most accurate for your purposes. Source: almost 5 years ago
Capture2Text is the simplest solution and it works surprisingly well with the Cold Steel/Hajimari text boxes... Once it runs in the background press a previously assigned hotkey and select the area on the screen to be captured. I recommend deactivating its popup window, you just want the text to be copied into the clipboard. Source: about 5 years ago
