  • Steve's 21st birthday he went to his dad's house & came back to finish high school. What does Lee County Sheriff's office say?
I didn't have a way to get there and no motive to kill people. I just started working help desk. VERIFIED places other than beenverified.com run by people who #scapegoat me for DOZENS of crimes that I hadn't done! Source: over 3 years ago
  • Ex friend did a federal background check on me with help from a cop friend. I didnโ€™t consent to any it. Was a crime committed? (WA state)
But seriously, "federal background check" could just be verbal shorthand for anything from "using beenverified.com" to "running a full check using full police facilities." It's too vague to go on. Source: over 3 years ago
  • On Higgins' employment with the Fort Wayne Philharmonic
With the beenverified.com app, nothing can be found connecting Mr. Higgins to the Fort Wayne Philharmonic. These are all jobs listed:. Source: over 3 years ago
  • From beenverified.com, a vehicle registered to Higgins
This information is presented as a public service. From the beenverified.com app, a record for a vehicle registered to Elliott Higgins. Source: over 3 years ago
  • What's the best website to find a long lost relative?
Iโ€™ve had good luck with Ancestry.com, beenverified.com, public voter rolls (voter registrations), court docket indexes (which typically include red light tickets and driving infractions), and state digital archives. Source: over 3 years ago

  • Busloads of migrants dropped off at vice presidentโ€™s DC home on Christmas Eve
At the national level that may be true but it does not seem to be that way at the state level. Many of the states listed on e-verify.gov's site are politcally red. Further digging showed that all nine states that require ALL businesses to use E-Verify are "red" states and many of those that have local (county/city) ordinances that require E-Verify are "red" states. • STEM OPT extension: what to do if employer has no E-Verify number?
In any case, can I just submit the employer name as it is listed on e-verify.gov since I don't have a number? I have worked for this company for 9 mo now, so I should be able to extend, no? Source: over 3 years ago
  • Ask HN: How do you handle organization verification?
I'm not sure on the details of how it's done ... But it certainly is done :) Honestly, the library/libraries used are kinda moot - those things change all the time (ie, it doesn't matter if it's OpenCV or something else) Most government-issued IDs are intentionally designed to be very hard to OCR (it's why they have barcodes/etc on them for automated scanning) - and any advances in image processing... - Source: Hacker News / almost 5 years ago
