embedportal is embedded analytics, distilled: it lets B2B SaaS companies deliver live BI dashboards to customers, partners, or franchisees — each seeing only their own data, in the company's own branding — by embedding the BI tool they already use (Power BI, Tableau, QuickSight, Metabase) rather than making them rebuild in a new charting layer. Multi-tenant row-level security, white-labeling, and SSO ship out of the box.

Keep your BI tool — this isn't a migration. If your team has already built dashboards in Power BI or Tableau, embedportal doesn't ask you to touch that work. It sits on top, handling the parts that are genuinely hard to build yourself: per-tenant data isolation (row-level security), your branding instead of the BI vendor's, single sign-on through whatever your customers already use to log in, short-lived signed tokens instead of long-lived credentials, TLS 1.3/AES-256 in transit, and an immutable audit log you can pipe into your own SIEM.

Questions & Answers

As answered by people managing Basedash and Embedportal.

What makes your product unique?

Embedportal's answer:

It's multi-vendor — it embeds the BI tool you already use (Power BI, Tableau, QuickSight, or Metabase) instead of making you rebuild dashboards in a new visualization layer. It's flat-rate, not per-seat, so cost doesn't scale with how many external viewers you're serving. And the multi-tenant security layer (row-level security, white-labeling, SSO/SAML, short-lived signed tokens, audit logging) ships out of the box, live in under an hour per integration.

Why should a person choose your product over its competitors?

Embedportal's answer:

Most embedded-analytics tools (Luzmo, Explo, Embeddable, Qrvey) expect you to rebuild your charts in their visualization layer — wasted work if your dashboards already exist in Power BI or Tableau. Native embedding SDKs (Power BI Embedded, Tableau Embedding) still leave you to build the multi-tenant security layer yourself, a real engineering project. Embedportal skips both: keep your existing dashboards, get the multi-tenant layer built-in, at a flat price instead of one that scales per external viewer.

How would you describe the primary audience of your product?

Embedportal's answer:

B2B SaaS companies with roughly 10-100 employees and a lean engineering team, who have — or are being asked for — a customer-facing analytics feature and can't spare a quarter of engineering time to build it properly. Also agencies delivering themed per-client reporting, and companies with large partner, distributor, or franchise networks that need to push dashboards out to the field.

Which are the primary technologies used for building your product?

Embedportal's answer:

Stack: Backend = NestJS 11 + TypeScript + PostgreSQL + BigQuery. Frontend = React 19 + TypeScript + Vite 8 + Tailwind 4 + shadcn/ui. dbt Services = dbt 1.7 + BigQuery + Jinja2 + Docker/ECS. Auth = AWS Cognito + SAML SSO, multi-method MFA.
