RandomTask is a to-do app that uses a roll of the dice to help you stop overthinking and start doing.
Having twenty open tasks often leads to staring at the screen and getting stuck. Trying to prioritize every chore, study topic, or work ticket burns mental energy before you even begin. RandomTask fixes this by taking the decision off your plate. Add your tasks, roll the dice, and focus only on the item that comes up.
It is built for beating daily procrastination, clearing chore backlogs, studying, and cutting down ADHD-related overwhelm.
Key Features:
Dice roll picker: Let randomness choose your next action so you can avoid decision paralysis.
Single task focus: Hides the rest of your backlog so you only see the one task you need to finish right now.
Custom filters: Group tasks by context, priority, or how much energy you have before rolling.
Fast and simple: A clean interface designed to get you working without complex setup.

I built RandomTask to solve my own decision fatigue. Whenever my to-do list gets longer than ten items, I end up spending more mental energy debating what to tackle first than actually doing the work.
RandomTask takes that friction away. You add your tasks, roll the dice, and the app picks your next action while hiding the rest of the list so you do not get overwhelmed. It forces single-task focus so you can just get moving.
It has been super helpful for beating daily procrastination, tackling chores, studying, and cutting down ADHD task paralysis.
Give it a roll and let me know what you think. Any specific filters or features you would want to see added?
As a writer, I've been using Basecamp for a few years now and I must say, it has been a game-changer for me. Basecamp is a cloud-based project management tool that offers a suite of features to help teams collaborate efficiently and effectively.
I started using Basecamp as a project management tool to manage my writing projects. Initially, I found it a bit overwhelming, but with time I got used to the interface and the features. Basecamp has a clean and intuitive design that makes it easy to use. The dashboard is well-organized and shows all the active projects and tasks at a glance. Basecamp has a variety of features that make it easy to manage tasks, track progress, communicate with team members, and share files.
Based on our record, Basecamp seems to be more popular. It has been mentiond 40 times since March 2021. We are tracking product recommendations and mentions on various public social media platforms and blogs. They can help you identify which product is more popular and what people think of it.
One implementation note that cost me a wrong result: URL predicates need tighter clause boundaries than entity mentions do. Split on sentence punctuation only, and "ๅนถๆฒกๆๆจๅบไธญๆๅฎ็ฝ๏ผๅ ถไธป่ฆๅฎ็ฝๆฏ https://basecamp.com" flags that URL as negated โ but the negation targets the Chinese site and the URL is being affirmed, one comma later. Splitting on commas as well fixed it: zero false flags across 1,416 URLs, and 74 genuine... - Source: dev.to / 18 days ago

37 Signals [0] famously uses their own Stimulus [1] framework on most of their products. Their CEO is a proponent of the whole no-build approach because of the additional complexity it adds, and because it makes it difficult for people to pop your code and learn from it. Remote work is an established term these days, but back in the days i.e. Prior to COVID or a few more years back, this term was quite alien in the developer community. Even though there were organizations like Basecamp which were working remotely for more than 20 years, the developer ecosystem was not built around the concept of working remotely or to put it in simple words, separately from your colleagues. Just... - Source: dev.to / almost 3 years ago
It's interesting, I've sampled basecamp.com and the number was 35 too, very similar variables, taking into consideration Basecamp is Older than Hey and heavily flex-box oriented. Source: about 3 years ago
