Averi is the AI content engine built for startups.

One workflow to run a content engine that ranks on Google, gets cited by AI, and turns increased visibility into customers.

Research. Draft. Publish. Optimize. Repeatโ€”all in one flow.

Averi monitors trends, tracks competitors, and queues high-value topics automatically. You choose what gets drafted, refine it, and publish directly to your CMS.

Every piece is stored in your Content Engineโ€”so Averi automatically builds content clusters, links related posts, and gets sharper with every publish.

An engine that never stops learning. A strategy that continuously compounds.

AWS Lambda features and specs

  • Scalability
AWS Lambda automatically scales your application by running your code in response to each trigger. This means no manual intervention is required to handle varying levels of traffic.
  • Cost-effectiveness
You only pay for the compute time you consume. Billing is metered in increments of 100 milliseconds and you are not charged when your code is not running.
  • Reduced Operations Overhead
AWS Lambda abstracts the infrastructure management layer, so there is no need to manage or provision servers. This allows you to focus more on writing code for your applications.
  • Flexibility
Supports multiple programming languages such as Python, Node.js, Ruby, Java, Go, and .NET, which allows you to use the language you are most comfortable with.
  • Integration with Other AWS Services
Seamlessly integrates with many other AWS services such as S3, DynamoDB, RDS, SNS, and more, making it versatile and highly functional.
  • Automatic Scaling and Load Balancing
Handles thousands of concurrent requests without managing the scaling yourself, making it suitable for applications requiring high availability and reliability.

Possible disadvantages of AWS Lambda

  • Cold Start Latency
The first request to a Lambda function after it has been idle for a certain period can take longer to execute. This is referred to as a 'cold start' and can impact performance.
  • Resource Limits
Lambda has defined limits, such as a maximum execution timeout of 15 minutes, memory allocation ranging from 128 MB to 10,240 MB, and temporary storage up to 512 MB.
  • Vendor Lock-in
Using AWS Lambda ties you into the AWS ecosystem, making it difficult to migrate to another cloud provider or an on-premises solution without significant modifications to your application.
  • Complexity of Debugging
Debugging and monitoring distributed, serverless applications can be more complex compared to traditional applications due to the lack of direct access to the underlying infrastructure.
  • Cold Start Issues with VPC
When Lambda functions are configured to access resources within a Virtual Private Cloud (VPC), the cold start latency can be exacerbated due to additional VPC networking overhead.
  • Limited Execution Control
AWS Lambda is designed for stateless, short-running tasks and may not be suitable for long-running processes or tasks requiring complex orchestration.

Questions & Answers

As answered by people managing Averi and AWS Lambda.

Who are some of the biggest customers of your product?

Averi's answer

  • Superhuman
  • Wispr AI
  • IRIS TV

Among others...

Why should a person choose your product over its competitors?

Averi's answer

Because Averi solves the whole problem, not just the writing part.

ChatGPT and Claude are powerful, but they require in-depth knowledge from the user to function properly as a content engine for your brand. You supply all the context, prompt endlessly, and still get generic output that needs hours of editing.

Jasper and other AI writing tools generate content, but there's no workflowโ€”no publishing, no analytics, no strategy, no proactive AI recommendations on what to create next based on numerous data points.

Agencies deliver expertise but cost $10K+/month and move slowly. Freelancers are a gamble with 70% project failure rates.

Averi gives you a system: AI handles the workflow, your brand context is built in, content publishes directly to your CMS, and analytics inform what's next. One platform instead of fifteen tabs. 2 hours a week instead of 20.

Which are the primary technologies used for building your product?

Averi's answer

Averi is built on a hybrid AI architecture that combines proprietary technology with best-in-class foundation models:

Content Engine Core: Our proprietary workflow system connects strategy, research, drafting, publishing, and analytics in one continuous loopโ€”so every phase informs the next.

Brand Core: A persistent memory system that learns your brand, voice, customers, and competitors onceโ€”then applies that context to every piece of content automatically.

AI Infrastructure: Multi-model orchestration using OpenAI and Anthropic models, optimized for marketing-specific tasks. The system dynamically routes between models based on task complexity.

SEO + GEO Optimization: Built-in optimization for both traditional search (Google) and AI search (ChatGPT, Perplexity). Every piece is structured to rank and get cited.

Publishing Layer: Direct integrations with Webflow, Framer, and WordPress. Content flows from draft to live without copy-paste or reformatting.

Analytics Engine: Connected to Google Search Console to track rankings, impressions, and clicksโ€”then surface recommendations on what to create next.

The result is a system that thinks like a marketer, remembers like a teammate, and executes like a machine.

How would you describe the primary audience of your product?

Averi's answer

Seed to Series A B2B startup founders and small marketing teams who need to build visibility without becoming full-time content marketers.

Specifically:

Founders doing their own marketing who know content matters but don't have 15 hours a week to spend on it. They want a system that runs, not another tool to manage.

Marketing teams of 1-2 people who are stretched thin across every channel. They need to publish consistently without burning out or sacrificing quality.

Startups who've tried AI tools and been disappointed. They've used ChatGPT, maybe Jasper, and found the output generic and the workflow nonexistent. They want AI that actually knows their brand.

What unites them: they're building companies on limited runway and can't afford to wait 6 months to see if content marketing works. They need results now, with minimal time investment.

What makes your product unique?

Averi's answer

Averi isn't another AI writing tool. It's a complete content engineโ€”one workflow that handles strategy, research, drafting, publishing, and analytics.

Most AI tools generate generic content and leave you to figure out the rest. Averi learns your brand once and remembers it forever. It researches topics optimized for SEO and AI search, drafts in your voice, publishes to your CMS, tracks performance, and tells you what to create next.

Other tools help you write faster. Averi gives you a content marketing system that actually runsโ€”without requiring your constant attention or a full-time marketing hire.

What's the story behind your product?

Averi's answer

Averi started with a problem we couldn't solve with existing tools.

We were a startup trying to build visibilityโ€”but content marketing was eating us alive. Strategy took weeks. Writing took hours. Publishing was a mess of tabs and tools. And the AI tools that promised to help? Generic output that needed more editing than starting from scratch.

So we built our own system. A workflow where AI handles research, drafting, and optimizationโ€”while humans stay in control of voice, strategy, and quality. We used it to grow our own content marketing over 6,000% in six months.

Then other founders started asking how we did it.

That's when Averi became a product. Not another AI writing toolโ€”a complete content engine that runs without burning out the people behind it.

Today, Averi is for startups who refuse to choose between building product and building visibility. We believe content marketing should compound your growth, not consume your calendar.

Clay can replace the Lambda and API chain if you'd rather avoid custom code. You set up a Clay table as the enrichment layer, trigger it from Segment via webhook, and it handles the waterfall and CRM push without writing a function. The tradeoff: less control over scoring logic and higher cost per enriched contact. - Source: dev.to / 3 months ago
  • Dynamic Looping Comes to AWS SAM
To show why this matters, take a look at the following example. I have three AWS Lambda functions, Lambda being the serverless compute service, that each handle a different endpoint on the same API. But, almost everything about them is the same. They have the same runtime, the same memory configuration, and nearly the same structure. The only differences are the name, handler, and possibly some environment variables. - Source: dev.to / 3 months ago
