Questions & Answers

As answered by people managing automated.info and JavaScript.com.

How would you describe the primary audience of your product?

automated.info's answer

Two groups, really.

Business tools: freelancers, contractors, small agencies, and solo operators who need invoices, contracts, proposals, and similar paperwork without installing Word templates or signing up for a heavy SaaS they use once a month.

Forum Seeder: people who already run their own forum (hobby community, brand board, niche site) and want it to look alive while they are still building membership. Not SEO agencies, not people trying to post on forums they do not own.

What makes your product unique?

automated.info's answer

Most “business tool” sites want a monthly subscription per app, or they lock you into one thing (just invoices, just PDFs). automated.info is a browser suite: invoices, contracts, proposals, estimates, CSV cleanup, YouTube transcripts, and more, all on one credit balance. Preview and editing are free. You only spend a credit when you actually download a result. Credit packs never expire, so you are not paying every month to keep access you are not using.

We also run Forum Seeder on the same account: a separate product for people who own a quiet forum (phpBB, XenForo, Discourse, etc.) and want realistic activity after they prove they control the domain. That combination is unusual. Paperwork tools plus owned-forum seeding, same login, different billing models.

Why should a person choose your product over its competitors?

automated.info's answer

  • No install. Everything runs in the browser. Open a studio, fill the form, download a PDF or DOCX.

  • Fair pricing. You are not renting software monthly just to open an invoice twice a year. Buy credits when you need them, or use Forum Seeder on a monthly plan if that is your use case.

  • Try before you pay. Preview is free. New accounts can claim 2 free credits after email verify.

  • One wallet, many tools. Invoice today, clean a CSV tomorrow, same balance.

  • Forum Seeder is built for owners, not spammers. You must verify DNS or HTML ownership before anything posts. You approve threads before they go live.

If you want a full accounting suite or a team CRM, we are not that. If you want quick, decent documents and small data jobs without another subscription, we are a good fit.

What's the story behind your product?

automated.info's answer

It started from practical annoyance: too many small jobs needed a proper PDF or a cleaned file, and the options were either bloated software or yet another monthly plan for one task. automated.info was built as a simple browser suite where you pay for output, not shelfware.

Forum Seeder came from the same mindset. Empty forums look dead, but hiring writers or faking posts manually does not scale. The product lets you seed boards you actually control, with approval steps and ownership checks, so it stays on the right side of “your site, your rules.”

The site is live and actively developed. We are early, but the tools are real and in daily use.

Which are the primary technologies used for building your product?

automated.info's answer

  • Web app: PHP 8.1+ (custom, no big framework), SQLite, Tailwind CSS
  • Payments: Stripe
  • Business tool processing: Docker-hosted workers on a private VM (PDF generation, CSV jobs, etc.)
  • Forum Seeder: Python, FastAPI, SQLite, Playwright for browser-based forum adapters
  • Hosting: cPanel for the public site, separate VM for processing and the Forum Seeder daemon
  • Email: SMTP from our own domain (verify, receipts, support)

No magic stack. Boring tech chosen so it is maintainable by a small team.

Who are some of the biggest customers of your product?

automated.info's answer

We are early stage and do not have a Fortune 500 logo wall. Our users today are mostly freelancers, small businesses, and forum owners trying the tools on real work, not enterprise procurement.

We do not publish customer names without permission. If you need references, use the contact form on the site and we can talk case by case.
