You can upload your own lore and the AI pulls from it during play instead of losing track of it after a few scenes. That memory, plus 5e and Pathfinder 2e rules with a built-in dice roller and real-time multiplayer, is what sets it apart from a plain AI chat.

I built Auferet because I was fed up with other AI adventure games. They could never hold onto the world I was playing in. It began as a side project, and somewhere in the middle of arguing about it with people at college, I looked at what it had turned into and decided to drop out and make it a real product. Everything in it is built around the thing those other games kept getting wrong: memory that actually sticks.

Auferet runs on Google Gemini models, with retrieval-augmented generation (File Search) behind the uploaded-lore memory. The web app is hosted on AWS, and the Android version ships through Google Play. Player worlds and saves stay in the browser and in downloadable files rather than on a server, which keeps your adventures yours.
