Asytra Trace is built specifically for assembly manufacturing, not adapted from generic project management or document tools. Every instruction step is tied to a serial number, so operators execute work on the shop floor while Trace records who did what, when, and for how long.

That means measurements, QC checks, photos, supervisor sign-offs, issues, and remarks stay linked to the exact unit and step. Production and quality teams can audit a build, answer customer questions, and export build records in minutes instead of searching paper binders or separate spreadsheets.

Trace is browser-based and designed for fast adoption: teams can start with one instruction set and one line without a long IT rollout.

Contract manufacturers, aerospace suppliers, medical device assemblers, and industrial equipment shops are a strong fit when they need to prove what happened on each serial number.

The day-to-day users are shop-floor operators and team leads running assembly sessions, with engineering and quality staff authoring instructions and reviewing build records afterward.

What's the story behind your product?

Asytra Trace grew out of a simple factory problem: paper instructions go out of date, knowledge lives with a few experienced operators, and audit prep means hunting through binders, emails, and separate QC forms.

Asytra built Trace to give assembly teams one place to publish controlled work instructions and capture what actually happened on every unit. The goal was not a multi-year MES deployment, but software operators could use on the line the same week it was introduced.

Today Trace is the execution and traceability product in the Asytra platform, alongside Measure for inspection workflows and Quote for manufacturing quoting.

Which are the primary technologies used for building your product?

Asytra Trace is a modern web application. The client is built with React and runs in the browser on the shop floor, including 3D assembly visualization where needed.

The backend uses Node.js with MongoDB for application data, shared authentication across Asytra products, and object storage for files such as photos and exported build records. The platform is delivered as a hosted SaaS service with role-based access and company licensing.
