What makes your product unique?

Asytra Quote is built for machining shops, not generic CPQ or ERP quoting. Estimators upload a STEP or IGES file; Quote recognizes machinable features, recommends milling, turning, or a combined route, and prices the part from the shop's own machines, tools, materials, and margins.

The same analysis engine powers two ways to sell. Quote Dashboard is for internal estimators who review routes, bundle multi-part quotes, and export PDF or Excel. Quote Widget embeds on the shop website so visitors upload files, pick material and quantity, and see indicative pricing without waiting on email. Leads arrive with the CAD file, estimate, and contact details.

Prices shown online are estimates. The shop always reviews and confirms final pricing before production.

Why should a person choose your product over its competitors?

Choose Quote when the bottleneck is a 30 to 90 minute RFQ from a STEP file, not a spreadsheet template. Geometry-driven costing from CAD is the core, with the shop in control of rates and margins.

Internal quoting and customer-facing website pricing use the same engine, so estimators and website visitors are not looking at two different methods. Optional DFM analysis is an add-on when shops want manufacturability feedback with the quote.

Quote is part of the Asytra platform alongside Trace and Measure, for shops that already want manufacturing software that stays close to the shop floor.

CNC machine shop owners and general managers, estimating and quoting teams, and sales engineers who handle RFQs from STEP and IGES files.

Job shops competing on response time for online buyers, and contract manufacturers who want self-serve pricing on their website. Typical shops have a small estimating team and cannot staff every inbound CAD file by email.

What's the story behind your product?

Asytra Quote's answer

Asytra already builds Trace for digital assembly instructions and serial traceability. Shops using Asytra, and shops we spoke with, still spent too long on quoting: inconsistent estimator prices, buyers who will not wait, and CAD files sitting in inboxes.

Quote was built to turn a STEP or IGES upload into a shop-specific CNC cost estimate, then to put that same engine on the shop website as a widget. The product is sold as Quote Dashboard for internal work and Quote Widget for customer-facing instant pricing, with a shared analysis engine.

Which are the primary technologies used for building your product?

Quote is browser-based. Estimators and website visitors use it in a standard web browser. There is no shop-floor install.

CAD analysis runs on Asytra's hosted service. Shops configure machines, tools, materials, and margins in the product. The widget embeds on the shop's existing website.
