Apache Karaf with OSGi works pretty nice using annotation based dependency injection with the declarative services, removing the need to mess with those hopefully archaic XML blueprints. Does anyone have any experience of building a competitor price monitoring site like Prisync and Price2Spy? How would you go about doing this? Is it a case of building a custom scraper for each ecommerce site that you want to monitor, or is there a much more "simpler" way that will allow me to have access to a lot more sites?
