Apache Karaf with OSGi works pretty nice using annotation based dependency injection with the declarative services, removing the need to mess with those hopefully archaic XML blueprints. Too bad it's not as trendy as spring and the developers so many of the tutorials can be a bit dated and hard to find. Thanks for the input, I use this library which already has it's own design and margins so I just used the default ones for certain items, I did alter some of the css for other items. I do see how that could make everything square up better and look more consistent. Source: over 5 years ago
