  • Performance Issues
Selenium can be slower compared to other automation tools, especially when running extensive test suites. This can affect the speed of the overall testing process.
  • Browser Compatibility Issues

Questions & Answers

As answered by people managing AltTextify and Selenium.

What makes your product unique?

AltTextify's answer

AltTextify combines powerful AI with a deep understanding of SEO and accessibility standards to generate alt text that isn’t just technically correct — it’s contextually smart. With native support for 140+ languages, automatic insertion via browser extension, and integrations with platforms like Shopify and WordPress, AltTextify doesn’t just generate alt text — it gets your content. Think of it as your site's multilingual, ADA-savvy image whisperer.

Why should a person choose your product over its competitors?

AltTextify's answer

AltTextify offers the same — and often better — AI-powered image alt text generation as leading platforms, but at a fraction of the cost. While competitors charge high monthly premiums for accessibility and SEO compliance, AltTextify is built to be 50% more economical without compromising on quality.

With seamless integrations across platforms like Shopify, Webflow, WordPress, and Zapier, AltTextify delivers enterprise-grade automation for startups, freelancers, and agencies — all at a price that actually makes sense.

If you're looking for an affordable, scalable solution that keeps your images compliant and optimized, AltTextify is the smart choice.

How would you describe the primary audience of your product?

AltTextify's answer

AltTextify is designed for creators, builders, and brands who care about both search visibility and accessibility — without wasting hours on manual alt text writing. Our audience includes eCommerce store owners, content publishers, digital marketers, agencies, and developers — but also a growing wave of no-code enthusiasts using platforms like Zapier, Webflow, and WordPress to build high-performing websites without touching code.

Whether you're managing thousands of product images or publishing weekly blog content, AltTextify fits seamlessly into your workflow to make every image optimized, compliant, and search-ready. If you're automating everything else, why not your alt text too?

What's the story behind your product?

AltTextify's answer

AltTextify was born out of a very relatable problem: writing alt text is nobody’s favorite task. It’s repetitive, boring, and easy to skip — but also super important for SEO and accessibility. After tagging hundreds of images manually (and maybe shedding a few tears over alt="" blanks), we thought: There has to be a smarter way.

So we built one.

AltTextify started as a weekend side project by a developer who hated seeing good images go unnoticed by search engines and screen readers. With a bit of AI magic, some computer vision, and a deep respect for web standards, we created a tool that could automatically describe images — better, faster, and in 140+ languages.

Now, AltTextify helps creators, marketers, and developers make their websites more inclusive and discoverable, without lifting a finger (okay, maybe one finger — to click “Generate”).

Which are the primary technologies used for building your product?

AltTextify's answer

AltTextify runs on a stack of modern AI magic — think computer vision models, natural language generation, and intelligent tagging algorithms. Under the hood, we use Python (for ML models), Node.js (for APIs), and a sprinkle of Chrome Extension wizardry. We integrate easily with platforms through REST APIs, Zapier, WordPress plugins, and browser-side enhancements.

Who are some of the biggest customers of your product?

AltTextify's answer

Our growing customer base includes Shopify stores, global bloggers, and marketing agencies who manage massive content libraries. While we can't name-drop just yet (NDA life 😅), we’re proud to power accessibility and SEO workflows for brands in eCommerce, digital publishing, and SaaS — with image libraries ranging from dozens to tens of thousands.
