AlcoInsights is an alcohol tracker built for decisions, not just history. While most โdrink logโ apps stop at counting units, AlcoInsights adds real-time guidance through Live BAC estimates, pacing analytics, and AI-driven pattern detection.
Log a drink in seconds and see where your BAC is trending right now, with clear stop-points based on your personal limits. AlcoInsights measures drinking pace (how quickly you ramp up), highlights โrisk momentsโ when you typically go past your goal, and surfaces weekly/monthly trends across drink types, days, and situationsโso you can see what actually drives overdrinking.
A key differentiator is the Hangover Risk / Hangover Score: a practical forecast based on your session profile and patterns, paired with next-day impact hints (sleep/recovery). Instead of generic tips, you get insight-first feedback that links choices tonight to how youโll likely feel tomorrow.
For behavior change, AlcoInsights supports simple rules and goals (e.g., weekend-only, max drinks, stop at X) plus streaks and gentle nudges that donโt feel preachy. And unlike many competitors, it includes a built-in Learn hub: short, evidence-informed guides on topics like alcohol & sleep, tolerance, and nicotineโso you understand the โwhyโ behind the data.
Built to be privacy-minded, AlcoInsights focuses on clarity over clutter: lightweight UX, meaningful dashboards, and insights you can act on immediately. Compared to standard trackers, itโs less about counting and more about understanding: pace, patterns, and predictions that adapt to you over time. Note: BAC and scores are estimates for guidance, not medical or legal advice.

AlcoInsights's answer
AlcoInsights combines live BAC estimates with AI-driven insights that most alcohol trackers donโt offer: drinking pace analysis, long-term trends, โrisk momentsโ detection, and a practical hangover risk score. It also includes a built-in Learn hub that explains the why behind the data (sleep, tolerance, nicotine, etc.).
AlcoInsights's answer
Choose AlcoInsights if you want real-time guidance and behavior analytics, not just a drink history. You get live BAC tracking, pace + trend insights, hangover risk forecasting, and simple goals/rules that turn tracking into decisionsโwhile keeping the UX lightweight and privacy-minded.
AlcoInsights's answer
People who want to drink more intentionallyโcut down, stay within limits, or understand patternsโwithout necessarily going fully sober. Also useful for data-minded users who like dashboards, trends, and measurable goals.
AlcoInsights's answer
I built AlcoInsights because most alcohol apps felt like passive logs. I wanted an app that shows where youโre heading during a session (live BAC), and then turns your history into actionable insights (pace, trends, hangover risk) plus short learning content to support better choices.
AlcoInsights's answer

AlcoInsights's answer
AlcoInsights is built with React on the frontend and Supabase on the backend (Postgres database, Auth, Storage, and Edge Functions). Payments and subscriptions are handled via Stripe. AI-based insights are generated in the backend using Gemini, turning session data (drinks + timestamps) into trend, pacing, and risk insights.
