Aiclo is an AI-powered platform for made-to-measure fashion that automates custom clothing production. We combine automated pattern generation with 3D virtual try-on, helping brands and studios produce bespoke garments without manual drafting.

Instead of traditional CAD work, Aiclo generates production-ready patterns based on specific measurements using templates or custom configurations. The platform includes a client measurement database, basic model library, and standard size & 3D avatar library for instant visualization. Designers can validate fit digitally before cutting fabric, then export DXF/PDF patterns with automatic fabric nesting and tech pack generation.

Key features include automated pattern generation, design via templates or configuration, 3D virtual try-on, client measurement database, basic model library, automatic fabric nesting, tech pack generation, standard size & 3D avatar library, DXF/PDF pattern export, and auto-grading.

Built for professionals without requiring specialized engineering skills, Aiclo bridges the gap between complex industrial CAD and accessible design tools. This low entry barrier allows fashion creators and small studios to scale custom production efficiently, going from measurements to validated production files in minutes instead of hours.

Docker features and specs

  • Portability
Docker containers are designed to run consistently across different environments such as development, testing, and production, ensuring that software behaves the same regardless of where it's deployed.
  • Efficiency
Docker containers share the host OS kernel and use fewer resources compared to traditional virtual machines, which allows for faster startups and reduced overhead.
  • Isolation
Containers encapsulate the application and its dependencies in a separate environment, which minimizes conflicts between different applications' dependencies.
  • Scalability
Docker makes it easier to scale applications quickly and manage resource allocation dynamically, which is particularly useful for microservices architectures.
  • Continuous Integration and Deployment
Docker facilitates CI/CD processes by making it easier to automate the deployment pipeline, resulting in faster code releases and more frequent updates.
  • Community and Ecosystem
A vast community and a rich ecosystem of tools and pre-built images in Docker Hub, enabling you to quickly find and reuse code and solutions.

Possible disadvantages of Docker

  • Complexity
While Docker can simplify certain aspects of deployment, it adds a layer of complexity to the infrastructure that might require specialized knowledge and training.
  • Security
Containers share the host OS kernel, which can pose security risks if an attacker gains access to the kernel. Proper isolation and security measures must be implemented.
  • Persistent Data
Managing persistent data in Docker can be challenging, as containers are ephemeral and the default storage solutions are not always suitable for all applications.
  • Monitoring and Debugging
Traditional monitoring and debugging tools might not work well with containerized applications, requiring specialized tools and approaches which can complicate troubleshooting.
  • Performance Overhead
Although lighter than virtual machines, Docker containers can still introduce performance overheads, especially when multiple containers are running simultaneously.
  • Compatibility
Not all software and systems are fully compatible with Docker, which can limit its use in certain legacy applications and complex environments.

Questions & Answers

As answered by people managing Aiclo and Docker.

What makes your product unique?

Aiclo's answer

Aiclo is the only platform that combines automated parametric pattern generation with integrated 3D virtual try-on in a single web-based workflow. Unlike traditional CAD software that requires line-by-line manual drafting, Aiclo algorithmically reconstructs garment geometry from measurements, generating production-ready patterns in minutes without specialized engineering skills.

Why should a person choose your product over its competitors?

Aiclo's answer

Traditional fashion CAD tools like Clo, Browzwear, and Lectra require extensive training and manual work for each pattern. Aiclo automates this process, allowing designers to go from measurements to validated DXF files instantly. Our low entry barrier means no special technical skills are needed, making professional-grade made-to-measure production accessible to small studios and independent creators at a fraction of the cost and time.

How would you describe the primary audience of your product?

Aiclo's answer

Fashion brands implementing made-to-measure offerings, professional design studios scaling custom production, independent clothing creators without CAD expertise, and apparel manufacturers seeking to automate bespoke workflows. Our users range from emerging designers launching custom collections to established brands adding personalization services.

What's the story behind your product?

Aiclo's answer

Aiclo was founded in 2023 by Evgeny Zapadinsky to solve the scalability problem in custom fashion production. The industry relied on either manual pattern-making (slow and expensive) or standard sizing (limited fit). We built Aiclo to bridge this gap by combining AI-driven parametric design with virtual validation, making bespoke manufacturing economically viable for businesses of all sizes.

Which are the primary technologies used for building your product?

Aiclo's answer

AI-powered parametric pattern generation algorithms, 3D garment simulation and rendering engine, computational geometry for automatic grading and nesting, cloud-based web architecture for accessibility, and CAD file format conversion (DXF, AAMA, PDF) for manufacturing compatibility.
