PriviTools is an independent collection of free online tools for PDFs, documents, images, spreadsheets and everyday office tasks. It helps users convert, compress, organize, edit, sign, protect and process files through specialized, easy-to-use interfaces.
Tools identified as local process files directly in the userโs browser. This reduces unnecessary uploads and helps users maintain control over sensitive information. Some tools may download a required library or model, but the userโs file is not sent to that provider.
PriviTools requires no registration or subscription and is available in multiple languages. The platform is actively developed, with a focus on privacy, practical productivity, transparent documentation and automated quality testing.
Aha!
PriviToolsAha! is recommended for product managers, project managers, marketing teams, and organizations that need a structured way to plan and track product development from conception through to execution. It is particularly useful for medium to large enterprises that can leverage its full suite of features.
PriviTools's answer:
PriviTools combines local-first processing, specialized interfaces and a broad collection of document and office tools in one accessible platform. Tools identified as local process files directly in the browser, helping users avoid unnecessary uploads of sensitive information. Unlike collections built around generic forms, each PriviTools tool is designed for its specific task, with clear actions, inline validation and results ready to download or reuse. No account or subscription is required.
PriviTools's answer:
PriviTools is a strong choice for people who want to complete document and office tasks quickly without installing software, creating an account or unnecessarily sending sensitive files to an external service. It provides free, multilingual tools for PDFs, images, spreadsheets and everyday productivity, with straightforward interfaces designed for each task. For tools marked as local, files remain under the userโs control and are processed directly in the browser.
PriviTools's answer:
PriviTools is designed for professionals, small businesses, independent workers, students and privacy-conscious users who regularly work with PDFs, images, spreadsheets and office documents. It is especially useful for administrative, operational, educational and professional tasks where users need fast results without installing software or creating an account. No advanced technical knowledge is required.
PriviTools's answer:
PriviTools began with a simple observation: many everyday document tasks require installing software, creating accounts or sharing files with external services. The project was created to provide a simpler and more privacy-conscious alternative.
It started as a collection of practical browser-based utilities and evolved into an independent platform for documents, images, spreadsheets and office productivity. PriviTools continues to grow according to real user needs, with an emphasis on specialized interfaces, transparent privacy practices, automated testing and tools that are immediately useful.
PriviTools's answer:
PriviTools is built primarily with modern client-side web technologies. Its tools use JavaScript, browser APIs, Web Workers and WebAssembly where appropriate to perform demanding operations directly in the browser. Selected features use IndexedDB and localStorage to preserve local preferences or work continuity without synchronizing that content to a PriviTools account. Specialized document and image-processing libraries are combined with automated testing to validate reusable logic and expected results.
PriviTools's answer:
PriviTools is a public, self-service platform that does not require user accounts or create profiles based on the content processed through its tools. For that reason, it does not maintain or publish a ranking of named customers.

Currently I am evaluating aha.io but it's not that pretty and config is a bit sub par in my opinion. Product board seems nice but I have to evaluate it. What are you using? Source: almost 4 years ago
Aha.io do great pop ups - top right small box, always announcing new features / improvements / events / blog posts that are relevant. It's helped me really learn the tool more and shows me that there's always improvements and activity from the dev team. Source: about 5 years ago
