As answered by people managing AgentBro and Readwise.

  • 5-minute setup - No technical skills needed, go live same day
  • Human-like AI voice - Powered by ElevenLabs, callers can't tell it's AI

How would you describe the primary audience of your product?

AgentBro's answer

Small to medium-sized service businesses that rely on phone calls but struggle to answer every call:

  • Dental offices and medical practices - Missing calls means missing patients
  • Law firms and attorneys - Every missed call is a potential client lost
  • Salons, spas, and barbershops - Staff too busy cutting hair to answer phones
  • Real estate agents - Can't answer while showing properties
  • Restaurants - Kitchen staff shouldn't be answering reservation calls
  • Plumbers, HVAC, contractors - On job sites, can't pick up the phone
  • Any business losing revenue to missed calls - 62% of calls to small businesses go unanswered

What's the story behind your product?

AgentBro's answer

AgentBro was born from a simple frustration: watching small businesses lose customers because they couldn't answer the phone.

The founder ran a service business and saw firsthand how missed calls meant missed revenue. Hiring a full-time receptionist cost $40,000+ per year - impossible for most small businesses. Traditional answering services were impersonal and expensive.

When AI voice technology became good enough to sound truly human, we saw the opportunity to build something different: an AI receptionist that small businesses could actually afford, that could actually book appointments (not just take messages), and that could be set up in minutes without any technical skills.

Today, AgentBro helps hundreds of small businesses never miss a call again - at a fraction of what they'd pay for human staff.

Who are some of the biggest customers of your product?

AgentBro's answer

  • Dental practices handling 500+ calls per month
  • Multi-location medical clinics
  • High-volume real estate teams
  • Busy law firms and solo attorneys
  • Salon chains with multiple locations
  • Restaurant groups managing reservations
  • Home service companies (plumbing, HVAC, electrical)

What makes your product unique?

AgentBro's answer

AgentBro is the only AI receptionist that actually books appointments - not just takes messages.

  • Human-like voice (callers can't tell it's AI)
  • Books directly into Google Calendar/Outlook
  • 5-minute setup, no coding required
  • 97% cheaper than hiring staff ($79/mo vs $3,000+/mo)
  • Industry templates for dental, medical, legal, real estate
  • Smart call transfer for urgent calls

Small businesses answer 100% of calls and never lose customers to voicemail.

Readwise Reviews

  1. Great help to review books

I imported my kindle highlights, as many others. Now I daily review some highlights (thanks to a dashboard, I am motivated). And where I didn't create highlights, as I only listened to the audiobooks, I get the highlights from others. It also allows to create beautiful quotes. It adds the book cover and matches quote and background with colours found on the book title! Really nice!

The only highlights that Readwise retrieves semi-automatically are from the books I buy from Kindle, by going into the Readwise app and clicking a button. Readwise also has this feature. I get a daily email with a random assortment of highlights that have been pulled in from multiple sources (Reader, Notion, Kindle, etc.) The product benefit in their case is that it's kind of like Zapier, but for notes. https://readwise.io/. - Source: Hacker News / over 1 year ago
