Okay, it's a little drawn-out, but here's what I did. We're a Google Classroom school, so I can't block Google.com, or else I can't use Classroom, Docs, Slides, etc. So no matter how many times I use a "Blocked Websites list" Scene to monitor my class and keep them from totallymath.com, abcya.com, etc, the kids could still play Snake, PacMan, and all the other Google Doodle games instead of doing their work. If they want kids to do something during what is effectively a 2 hour detention, used a bunch of age appropriate reading materials/videos, accompanying worksheets, and perhaps a short essay. If you want to digitize it, make a self-guided Edpuzzle. Source: over 3 years ago
I 100% feel this on an ethereal level. My school recently went from Google Classroom to Infinite Campus. It may just be me, but I cannot adjust to the number of clicks I need to make to do the same stuff I was doing before. Maybe I'm just used to GC... For some positives, I really have found a couple I like that seem to be pretty popular. For videos I've been liking EdPuzzle. Not the most engaging but better... Source: over 3 years ago

For flipping this class, it may seem as simple as shifting everything. The lecture (as a video on edpuzzle.com with imbedded questions) becomes the homework. The problems done at home are instead done in class.. Source: about 4 years ago
