Questions & Answers

As answered by people managing Adviota and CommitCat.

What's the story behind your product?

Adviota's answer

Adviota was born at Xendd, an Amsterdam-based software company, out of a recurring frustration we saw in research teams: the answers were always somewhere buried in an SPSS file, a slide deck from last year, or a 90-page PDF report but finding them took hours. Analysts were copying data into spreadsheets and pasting snippets into chatbots that confidently made numbers up. We thought the fix was obvious: an AI that reads the actual research files including SPSS, the format the industry runs on but almost no AI tool supports and answers only from what's really in the data. So we built Adviota: upload your files, ask anything, and get an answer you can trace back to the source. What started as a tool for research agencies has grown into a shared research brain for entire teams.

What makes your product unique?

Adviota's answer

Adviota is one of the few AI tools that natively reads SPSS files (SAV, ZSAV, POR) the standard format in market research and lets you chat with them directly, no syntax, scripts, or conversion needed. Where general AI chatbots hallucinate, Adviota grounds every answer in your own uploaded data with verifiable sources. It's built specifically for B2B research teams: shared workspaces, report-ready charts, PDF/PowerPoint export, and EU-based data processing where your files never train outside models. Upload a dataset, ask a question, and get a sourced answer in seconds.

Why should a person choose your product over its competitors?

Adviota's answer

Most research tools make you choose general AI chatbots can't read SPSS files and invent numbers, while traditional analysis software demands syntax skills and hours of manual crosstab work. Adviota does both jobs it reads your actual survey data (SPSS, Excel, CSV, PDF) and answers in plain language, grounded in your files so you can trust and verify every number. It's also faster to adopt than enterprise research platforms: sign up free, upload a file, and get your first answer in under a minute no onboarding calls, no credit card, no training. And unlike US-hosted alternatives, your data is processed and stored in the EU and never used to train outside models a real requirement for many European research agencies and their clients.
