Questions & Answers

As answered by people managing Adobe XD and GetDeck.studio.

What makes your product unique?

GetDeck.studio's answer:

getdeck is built for your AI agent, not for a separate editor. It runs as an MCP server, so Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Cursor and other agents can search and fetch slide layouts in the middle of a conversation. Each layout is a finished HTML page at 1920x1080 with a character limit on every text slot, so the agent fills a slide that already has its type scale and spacing set, instead of drawing one from scratch.

Why should a person choose your product over its competitors?

GetDeck.studio's answer:

If you already work in an AI agent, you do not have to leave it to make slides. Tools like Gamma and Beautiful.AI are their own editors; getdeck hands layouts to the agent you already use. Searching and downloading single layouts is free with no cap. You pay only when you want the agent to put a whole deck together, at $9.99 per month with a 7-day free trial.

How would you describe the primary audience of your product?

GetDeck.studio's answer:

People who already ask an AI assistant or coding agent to make presentations and keep getting slides with clipped text, repeated card layouts or spacing that changes from slide to slide. Founders preparing a pitch deck, consultants, and developers who want slides without opening a design tool.

What's the story behind your product?

GetDeck.studio's answer:

When we asked AI tools to make slides, the decks kept breaking in the same places: text got clipped, every slide used three cards, and spacing changed from one slide to the next. So instead of having the agent draw slides from scratch, we built a library it picks from. getdeck runs as an MCP server, so Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini and other agents can search over 160 finished layouts and 41 themes while you work. Single layouts are free, and the paid part is having the agent put a whole deck together in order.

Which are the primary technologies used for building your product?

GetDeck.studio's answer:

getdeck is a Next.js and React app written in TypeScript with Tailwind CSS, and its MCP server runs on the same deployment using the Model Context Protocol SDK and mcp-handler. Supabase handles sign-in and the database, Lemon Squeezy handles subscriptions, and the slide layouts and themes are plain HTML and CSS variables.
