Features and specs

What each product offers, as listed by its team.

Adakti 5 features
git-fastclone 5 features
  • True net P&L tracking
Go beyond raw trading profits by factoring in account purchase fees, activation fees, resets, payouts, and other real costs. See what your prop trading activity is actually returning.
  • Prop firm rule monitoring
Keep key rules visible at all times, including drawdown, daily loss limits, profit targets, consistency requirements, and payout conditions. Built-in presets make it easier to manage accounts across major prop firms.
  • Automatic trade imports
Turn raw CSV files into structured, closed trades without manual entry. Adakti also supports TopstepX sync, with additional broker and platform connections being expanded over time.
  • Multi-account performance analytics
Analyze your trading across all accounts with win rate, profit factor, expectancy, drawdown, and symbol-level performance. Identify what is truly working across your challenges and funded accounts.
  • P&L calendar with economic events
Visualize every trading day, its profit or loss, and the key economic news that may have influenced your performance. Spot patterns in your results at a glance.
  • Faster clone times
git-fastclone speeds up cloning of repositories with submodules by using reference repositories and caching, avoiding redundant downloads of shared objects across multiple clones.
  • Efficient submodule handling
It automates the recursive cloning and updating of git submodules, reducing the manual overhead typically involved in managing nested repositories.
  • Local object caching
By maintaining a local cache of repository objects, it minimizes network usage and disk space when cloning multiple repositories that share common history or dependencies.
  • Simple drop-in usage
It is designed to be used similarly to the standard git clone command, making it easy for teams to adopt without significant changes to their existing workflows.
  • Useful for CI/CD pipelines
Its speed improvements are particularly beneficial in continuous integration environments where repositories with many submodules are cloned repeatedly, reducing build times.

Possible disadvantages

  • Limited maintenance
The project has seen infrequent updates and community activity in recent years, which may raise concerns about long-term support and compatibility with newer git versions.
  • Narrow use case
It is primarily beneficial for repositories with many submodules; for simple repositories without submodules, the performance gains are minimal or negligible.
  • Additional complexity
Introducing a caching and reference mechanism adds complexity to the clone process, which could lead to unexpected issues if the cache becomes corrupted or outdated.
  • Dependency on Ruby environment
Since git-fastclone is implemented as a Ruby gem, users need a working Ruby environment installed, which can be an extra setup requirement for teams not already using Ruby.
  • Potential caching pitfalls
Improper cache invalidation or stale cached objects can potentially lead to inconsistencies in cloned repositories if not carefully managed.

Questions & Answers

As answered by people managing Adakti and git-fastclone.

What makes your product unique?

Adakti's answer

Adakti is built specifically for futures prop traders managing multiple evaluations and funded accounts. It combines trading performance with the operational reality of prop trading: fees, resets, payouts, drawdown, consistency rules, and account status. Instead of showing only gross P&L, Adakti helps traders understand the true return of their prop trading activity across every account.

Why should a person choose your product over its competitors?

Adakti's answer

Most trading journals focus on generic performance metrics. Adakti adds the prop-firm layer that matters in practice: account costs, payout conditions, firm rules, and multi-account consolidation. It helps traders move beyond isolated dashboards and spreadsheets to see their actual net results, monitor key constraints, and review their trading process in one place. In the long run, Adakti will allow prop traders to find the firm best suited to their trading style.

How would you describe the primary audience of your product?

Adakti's answer

Adakti is built for independent futures prop traders, especially those managing multiple evaluations or funded accounts across one or several prop firms. Its ideal users want a clearer, centralized and consolidated view of their trading performance, account status, payouts, costs, and prop-firm rules without relying on spreadsheets or fragmented dashboards.

What's the story behind your product?

Adakti's answer

We built Adakti out of a simple frustration: traditional trading journals show P&L and win rate, but they do not capture the real complexity of prop trading. Traders often manage several accounts while trying to track drawdown, payout rules, consistency requirements, fees, resets, and performance at the same time. Adakti was created to bring those pieces together and give prop traders a clearer, more realistic view of their trading activity. Our goal is to work closely with both prop firms and traders to help each side find the right fit and maximize overall profitability.
