As a writer, I've been using Basecamp for a few years now and I must say, it has been a game-changer for me. Basecamp is a cloud-based project management tool that offers a suite of features to help teams collaborate efficiently and effectively.
I started using Basecamp as a project management tool to manage my writing projects. Initially, I found it a bit overwhelming, but with time I got used to the interface and the features. Basecamp has a clean and intuitive design that makes it easy to use. The dashboard is well-organized and shows all the active projects and tasks at a glance. Basecamp has a variety of features that make it easy to manage tasks, track progress, communicate with team members, and share files.
Based on our record, ActivityWatch should be more popular than Basecamp. It has been mentiond 60 times since March 2021. I've liked the focused window tracker in https://activitywatch.net. - Source: Hacker News / 8 days ago
Hi HN. RewindOS captures your screen every few seconds, OCRs it, and makes everything you've ever seen instantly searchable — all 100% local. No cloud, no account, no telemetry. MIT-licensed, and built specifically for Linux/Wayland. I started out using [ActivityWatch](https://activitywatch.net/), which is great at what it does — but it tracks how much time you spend in each app, not what you actually... - Source: Hacker News / 3 months ago
Ah okay. I think this would probably be pretty tricky, security-wise, no? One of my first thoughts that might help would be writing a simple tool that parses history from your browsers to categorize it. Other than that, there are things like https://activitywatch.net/ (which seems to have a desktop and Android version). - Source: Hacker News / 9 months ago
It's an actual useful feature, it's just the tracking by microsoft that makes it meh. I also track my activities with ActivityWatch (Open Source, https://activitywatch.net/) to remember missing time entries for billing clients. It's all local, so perfectly fine. - Source: Hacker News / 10 months ago
Https://activitywatch.net/ gets you part of the way there. - Source: Hacker News / 11 months ago
One implementation note that cost me a wrong result: URL predicates need tighter clause boundaries than entity mentions do. Split on sentence punctuation only, and "并没有推出中文官网,其主要官网是 https://basecamp.com" flags that URL as negated — but the negation targets the Chinese site and the URL is being affirmed, one comma later. Splitting on commas as well fixed it: zero false flags across 1,416 URLs, and 74 genuine... - Source: dev.to / 28 days ago
Products like Fullstory (analytics), Intercom (live chat), Basecamp (project management), and Shopify (eCommerce) were created based on internal tools. - Source: dev.to / 5 months ago
37 Signals [0] famously uses their own Stimulus [1] framework on most of their products. Their CEO is a proponent of the whole no-build approach because of the additional complexity it adds, and because it makes it difficult for people to pop your code and learn from it. Remote work is an established term these days, but back in the days i.e. Prior to COVID or a few more years back, this term was quite alien in the developer community. Even though there were organizations like Basecamp which were working remotely for more than 20 years, the developer ecosystem was not built around the concept of working remotely or to put it in simple words, separately from your colleagues. Just... - Source: dev.to / almost 3 years ago
It's interesting, I've sampled basecamp.com and the number was 35 too, very similar variables, taking into consideration Basecamp is Older than Hey and heavily flex-box oriented. Source: about 3 years ago
