Either way you'll end up using a host like a2hosting.com (search for "a2hosting comparison" to find other hosts) which let you put up your own web pages because listing domains only on Afternic, Sedo, GoDaddy, etc., still doesn't give you much more visibility than posting them as For Sale on which ever domain name service/registrar you choose, which in itself gives you little visibility except to sharks who cruise... I am already using Hashicorp Packer at work and for personal projects and I wanted to test This idea out by wrapping it a single Packer Template file. Hashicorp Packer provides a nice wrapper / abstraction over the QEMU in order to boot the image and use it to set it up on first-boot.
