I'd go with number 2 unless you want to buy everyone a hardware token (option number 3). There are open source solutions (I've used https://2fas.com/ ) and very common solutions (Google Authenticator). Personally I donโt like that weโve adopted the term โwork from homeโ instead of โwork remotelyโ Iโm just like you and no doubt there are others too who donโt want to mix and also donโt want a long commute to a dimly lit cubicle or noisy open office.
