I'd go with number 2 unless you want to buy everyone a hardware token (option number 3). There are open source solutions (I've used https://2fas.com/ ) and very common solutions (Google Authenticator). I've also made a couple of videos using MySimpleShow where I've done the voice over and added in my own images to form part of the story board instead of doing a presentation and I really enjoyed this.
