Krypt Offline Private Vault
Lastpass
SecureKit is a private encrypted vault for iPhone that keeps sensitive information on your device. Store passwords, two factor authentication codes, private photos, identity documents, sensitive notes, and audio recordings together in one protected place.
SecureKit does not require an account and does not use a cloud vault or synchronization. Vault content is encrypted locally with 256 bit AES GCM encryption. Access is protected by Face ID or the device passcode, and the vault key is protected by the iOS Keychain.
Organize items into custom groups, search across the vault, restore items from Recently Deleted, receive document expiry reminders, and choose when the app locks. Shake to Lock provides an instant physical gesture for securing your vault.
Encrypted backup and restore lets you create your own password protected backup file. The recovery password is never stored, and the vault key is never written to the backup.
The core vault is free. SecureKit Premium unlocks private photo imports, two factor authentication codes, and encrypted backup creation for $2.99 monthly or $29.99 yearly.

Store secrets in a proper manager. 1Password and Doppler both have solid secrets management with fine-grained access control. Worth noting: Bitwarden's own npm CLI was compromised via a hijacked GitHub Action in their CI pipeline in April 2026 - end-user vaults were untouched, but it's a clean illustration of why the tool you trust and the channel it ships through are separate threat surfaces. - Source: dev.to / 4 months ago
1Password has a Secrets Automation product that allows teams to reference secrets stored in their 1Password vaults from CI/CD pipelines, Docker environments, and application configurations. The op CLI tool resolves secret references at runtime, substituting vault values into configuration at the point of use. - Source: dev.to / 4 months ago
For security-first teams: Consider 1Password Business instead. Better CLI integration, hardware token support, and stronger enterprise features at similar pricing. - Source: dev.to / 6 months ago
Implement a password manager like 1Password to reduce data correlation across services. - Source: dev.to / 6 months ago
For developers using tools like 1Password for secure development workflows or NordVPN for secure remote development, the security implications of AI-generated code add another layer of complexity to your security posture. - Source: dev.to / 6 months ago
