Make adoptables. Everyone always buys adoptables (myself included) and post them on Deviantart and instagram alongside ych.commishes.com. It'll take some time to get a following unless your art and design is what people are looking for. From humans to animals, to even outfits, this is a big area. I auction stuff off on YCH (https://ych.commishes.com/), take commissions, have a successful Patreon and Subscribestar (these are the big ones for security), and keep activity up on a bunch of social networks where I occasionally get an offer to review some kind of drawing tech (the chinese companies were RAVENOUS a few years ago) where they pay+send the tablet itself to test out.
