  • Corsair requires the installation of iCue (1.1GB) in order to keep their keyboards running correctly.
EDIT: Realized that one is unmaintainted, so here’s a maintained one: https://github.com/ckb-next/ckb-next. Source: 8 months ago
  • I haven't been fully indoctrinated yet, as my room still receives sunlight
There is unofficial software written for Linux to interact with the corsair keyboards, like the k95. https://github.com/ckb-next/ckb-next. Source: 11 months ago
  • Why Use Linux?
You can control corsair keyboard rgb with https://github.com/ckb-next/ckb-next. Works fine on my ancient strafe keyboard and the assorted corsair mice I've used. Source: about 1 year ago
  • My RAM light permanently not working now after running OpenRGB for 3 days on new PC Build
Not sure. I use ckb-next which is for linux and only supports corsair devices as I have corsair ram and peripherals. I never really had any luck with openrgb tbh. Source: about 1 year ago
  • Gaming mouse software in kubuntu?
Ckb-next is for Corsair devices, and mostly is for RGB, but does offer mouse button configuration. I use this one with my M65 Elite as it also configures DPI level settings and other items, as well as per-led lighting. Source: about 1 year ago
  • Windows 11 Slapping a Watermark on 'Unsupported' PCs
Welcome to open source. Can I interest you in https://github.com/ckb-next/ckb-next ? Source: about 1 year ago
  • Is iCue the worst program or am I doing something wrong?
If you're on linux https://github.com/ckb-next/ckb-next is really good. Source: over 1 year ago
  • Gamer thinking of swapping to Linux, have some compatibility concerns.
I have a Corsair K70 LUX RGB which works with ckb-next. Have no issues with media button or the volume wheel. RGB also works and fully customizable, you can have different profiles for different games with autoswitching. Source: over 1 year ago
  • 2k hours and I just discovered....
I just grabbed a Corsair K70 cause it looked like the open source version of of their config looked pretty good: https://github.com/ckb-next/ckb-next. Source: over 1 year ago
  • What type keyboard are you (open for full range)
For me ICUE doesn't exist on Linux anyways, therefore I use ckb-next to configure my keyboard. Source: over 1 year ago
  • My friend really hates RGB on his stuff.
Would've been great if ckb-next worked on windows then probably, it works a treat to configure my Corsair Scimitar. Source: over 1 year ago
  • What do you think of this high-end AMD gaming build?
I do have peripherals, but some of them will be needing replacement in the near future. My G502 works fine, no replacement needed. The G213 keyboard however, is starting to show it's age, and I've been wanting to upgrade to a truly mechanical keyboard for some time. I still want a 100%, because I really miss my numpad whenever I'm working on my laptop. I've looked at some Corsair ones (K100, K95), because those... Source: over 1 year ago
  • Multi function mouse with extra configurable buttons?
It has Linux support thanks to ckb-next but you can't save profile changes to the mouse with it; for that you need access to Windows. However, if you do have access to Windows (even just via VM) you can save profile changes to the mouse itself, which will make any custom bindings you set up work anywhere, including ChromeOS. • Icue for linux?
There is ckb-next, though it is mostly for mice and keyboards. Looks like there are some open feature requests for a few headsets, but not yet implemented. Source: over 1 year ago
  • Can you get windows keyboard software to work on Linux?
Some hardware may work better with brand-specific software. My particular Corsair mouse doesn't have many options available in OpenRGB, so I use CKB-Next for that. Source: over 1 year ago
  • Setting up Corsair keyboard buttons/rgb, Logitech mouse buttons on Deck
For the keyboard, I would like todo things such as edit the RGB lighting and especially get the volume control buttons to work. For this, I have found things like ckb-next that I'm not fully aware how to install, or making shortcuts in the settings (which every website says different lines of code to insert). • How many of you are playing Tibia on Linux?
I was however struggling a bit with finding a way to make my gaming mouse work at first (I use a Corsair Scimitar PRO mouse). Luckily I found ckb-next which resolved the issue :). Source: almost 2 years ago
  • "If you screw up on Windows it ain't our problem but we'll always welcome you back with open arms on SteamOS" - Valve
Though in Linux-land, its mostly other devices, like USB things where it is far more common to have community drivers instead. My own keyboard uses ckb-next instead. Source: about 2 years ago
