Create a netacad account on cisco.com. Download the packet tracer software. Set up some scenarios with all the routers, switches, APs and computers inside the packet tracer. Easy, peasey, japanese. All the physical hardware is just clutter and cumbersome to setup. Virtualization is the key these days and you can do it with tools like PT. Source: 5 months ago
The other way is using a token, you gain by converting a PAK in CSSM, I think you can add device and then use PAK to get a token you install on device. The smart account is free to setup and you dont need any special status to have one, but do need to register with cisco.com . However there is secondary step in the PAK registration process , where you need to generate a PIN by proving you own the PAK, in order to... Source: 10 months ago

PCD is free, is typically available as part of a new or upgrade order that includes CUCM, for example. Upgrade images for PCD are available via Downloads on cisco.com, but AFAIK, the bootable OVA for initial deployment needs to come via eDelivery/order fulfillment process. Source: 12 months ago

I go try to take one of the CCNP exams to keep my certs current. I fail by like 5 points. There was a huge section on some weird trunking thing that I have never seen in production and wasn't on the exam notes. There is like one marketing page on cisco.com about it and that is all. I have like 1 more chance to retake before my certs expire. I am pissed about the BS on this exam. I refused to brain dump it. Been... Source: about 1 year ago
I'm not seeing any latency issues when pinging either 1.1.1.1 or cisco.com. No one else is using my network. Source: about 1 year ago
I would spot check a ping -t toward 1.1.1.1 and another site like cisco.com or something else, to see if its happening to both or just one of them. Source: about 1 year ago

You used to be able to get security updates for free from Cisco TAC, but you still need a cisco.com account and to provide the device serial number. I haven't done this, but I've heard it works. Source: about 1 year ago
I've been looking on cisco.com and am getting a bit confused on which models would actually support having external antennas. It seems that I am only able to find 1, which is the Catalyst 9124E. Are they other options available, even if they are not the latest & greatest from Cisco? Would some of the older models still be supported by a controller instead of all running standalone? I changed my name to match my ID on cisco.com. will that propagate over to pearson? the person I talked to couldnt/wouldnt answer that. or maybe she did and I just couldn't make that out through the broken english. One thing to check when getting study materials is that they are for the current exam. There's a lot of old content out there, both books and courses. Always check over at cisco.com for what the current version is, and if there is a new version coming soon and any end date for an exam version. The current version, today, is CCNA 200-301. All teams are using the same default layout in this scenario, and it's working for all but 2 agents strangely enough. This started with only one agent having the issue, and appears to be spreading. TAC had me download the reports from cisco.com and re-upload them into CUIC, but that didn't resolve it either. Source: over 1 year ago

Ok, so I've been playing around with this for quite a while and still stuck... Based on your comment, I should be able to go to cisco.com, login with my [me@newcompany.com](mailto:me@newcompany.com) account, PSS, My Profile, then type in my CSCO information into Cisco Testing Information section?
