CatchLeak is a pre-flight reliability audit for n8n and Make workflows. It reads an exported workflow and returns a leak map: the exact nodes where leads, runs and data are silently lost, how bad each one is, and the step-by-step fix.
Automations that "work" can still drop leads with no error message. The four that show up again and again:
- The webhook answers before the save completes. The form shows success, the record never lands.
- A failable node with no error branch and no error workflow. One failure stops the run and nobody is told.
- An HTTP call with no retry. One transient blip, one lost lead.
- No dedupe before the CRM write. Retries and double submits create conflicting records.
This is an audit, not a runtime monitor, and the difference matters: monitoring tells you after something failed with an error. These failures never raise one. CatchLeak is meant to run before the workflow goes live, and it complements whatever monitoring you already have.
API keys and tokens are stripped in your browser before anything is sent - and an n8n export carries credential references, not the credentials themselves. The workflow is analysed in memory and never stored. No account is needed to scan. One-time payment by workflow size, no subscription. Make support is in beta; n8n is fully supported.
