I compared it to the website cameradecision.com. Source: 6 months ago
In the end it is your decision, I like using cameradecision.com to compare specs on different cameras, if there's too many: Oh, don't like that! points, than you're probably able to make a decision. For me the lack of stabilisation, no lens breathing correction, the smaller EVF and lower ISO mean that I would go A7IV but I heavily lean to photography anyway. Source: 10 months ago
The Sony has the larger sensor followed by the Lumix and then the iPhone. This affects depth of field (aka bokeh, or blurry backgrounds) and low light performance. The iPhone uses software tricks to enhance its performance but in no way does it actually do what the Sony and Lumix does. If you rule out the iPhone now your down to two camera models that have varying functions. You can go to... Source: 10 months ago
Think about what is important for you (e.g. resolution, fps, 4k video, ...), then consult with a site like https://cameradecision.com to figure out which of the three best meets your needs. BTW, With many people switching to mirrorless these days, you should be able to get a used D850 for significantly less than $ 2250. Source: 11 months ago
Thanks! Back in 2020 Nikon D5300 was one of the best you can get for that money. Mine D3500 is discontinued so you can't get it - although it was the cheapest DSLR at that time and value for money compared to canon. See, at some point you won't complain about your gear as there is always a workaround but in the starting you need a decent one to start with. I'll recommend saving more for some canon ones or maybe... Source: 12 months ago
This particular camera is classified as a large sensor compact. They're the best stuff you can get without dealing with cameras that have the detachable lens deal going on. They have a lot of features and fit in your pocket adequately well. The best of this category can outperform the entry level interchangeable lens cameras in certain aspects. www.cameradecision.com is a great resource to compare cameras and have... I've been trying to determine how old of a camera I can use and whether I should buy new or used. I've narrowed them down to the smallest ones I can find with the help of a site like cameradecision.com and videos from a YT channel like MarkusPix who is also a compact camera enthusiast, and Camera Conspiracies. Https://www.the-digital-picture.com/ seems like a good one for cameras/lenses, and https://cameradecision.com/ is useful for just comparing quantitative data. - Source: Hacker News / over 1 year ago
Big question, is the sensor size on the G cameras still "big enough" for good low light performance? https://cameradecision.com/ seems to highlight that the G series cameras use a sensor that is "90% smaller than the average mirrorless camera in it's class." that hardly sounds right to me, given the pro-targeted GH models and the 4-digit price tags. If you want to look at some alternatives you could try a comparison website like https://cameradecision.com/ or talk to an expert in store. Yes, the people in store are there to sell cameras but if you tell them about your requirements (cost, functionality, longevity etc) they can give some good advice. Source: almost 2 years ago

If you wanted to sell any equipment but want to keep some for maybe the opportunity to try out photography in the future you could always start off by selling the bodies of the cameras first whether that's on ebay or a local place. If you want to simplify the raw power of the camera's compared to eachother I find using [this](https://cameradecision.com/) website helped me a lol. Goodluck. Source: about 2 years ago
I was looking to upgrade my Canon EOS SL3 that I bought about a year ago. I was looking for a full frame Canon R and stumbled upon this comparison site Camera Decision Just enter your camera in the first box then the a different camera in the second box. The site pulls up all the specs for each camera, shows a comparison, rating for each, and pros and cons. It also shows photos of the cameras side by side so... Source: over 2 years ago

Look at detailed specs (e.g., cameradecision.com), what's available used, other deals, refurbished, etc. But I hope this gets you started, or lets you feel better about the SX60. You can look at other models but you have to decide on your priorities between available cost, available zoom, resolution, aperture. Source: almost 3 years ago
