  • BuzzFeed News Is Shutting Down
I can only imagine their disappointment when buzzfeed.com still pops up with their quizzes and "news" about the Kardashians. Source: 12 months ago
  • Get it Together!!
From what buzzfeed.com? Is that what the quiz told you? Source: about 1 year ago
  • BuzzFeed, after gutting its newsroom, asks reporters to produce even more — Meanwhile, the company's stock is struggling, revenue is in free fall, and editorial ambitions remain hazy
The terrible part is they completely poisoned the name "buzzfeed" because buzzfeednews.com (not buzzfeed.com) does some amazing journalism. Among other stories they are the ones who received the leaked "FinCen Files" which showed that FinCen (the US govt agency in charge of monitoring suspicious financial transactions) was basically not doing anything and money laundering was freely happening under their watch and... • Algeria, and the relationship between lead and iq
You're focusing on the wrong side effect of lead, studies have shown that exposure to lead in the air increases violence and crimes, and the effect can last up to 20 years. I'm more concerned about that than some arbitrary whimsical IQ test on buzzfeed.com. Source: about 1 year ago
  • Buzzfeed shouldn’t be suggested as a news site
If I type in "nytimes.com" right now, I get news stories and midterm analysis first. If I type in "buzzfeed.com" the main story is "I Apologize In Advance, But Non-Americans Think These 18 American Foods Are Absolutely 'Disgusting”. You have to click on the logo and find your way over to Buzzfeed news, which to me at least, would suggest their news section is of secondary importance and isn't the main component of... • What website did you frequently visit when you were younger?
Buzzfeed.com. It used to be a fun site with nostalgic quizzes and other mindless distractions. Then it became "which organic snack are you?" Then it inexplicably became even worse. Source: over 1 year ago
  • For Those of You Who Like to Complain About Boston's Lack of Nightlife - Boston.com Wants Your Opinions!
Or buzzfeed.com, they're happy to do so as well. Source: almost 2 years ago
  • Books for helping with my height insecurity?
There are books aplenty - just googled for you and buzzfeed.com has a list of '16 books every short person should read' - with very confidence-boosting titles. I can't rec any particular one but you could maybe buy one and see? Source: over 2 years ago
  • Is this funny? I don’t get it…
The list-based article format is a popular one on the internet. If you check the titles on buzzfeed.com or cracked.com you will see a lot of "34 Things To Make Any Stressed-Out Parent's Life Easier" or "14 Bizarro Origins of Famous Songs" (just two actual samples currently on their homepage), so if you read "28 horses named Jeff or Jerry" it does sound like a legitimate title for an article. • r/Nursing Is Doing Yet Another COVID Horror Thread
I highly recommend also Dr. Eric Topol, one of U.S.'s leading biomedical researchers, who is also pro third shots . Earlier in 2021 he blasted the CDC for not trying to measure how breakthrough Covid among people who DON'T have to be hospitalized. He recently gave an interview about booster shots against Covid. He might have been to vox.com or buzzfeed.com. Source: over 2 years ago
  • Tips for Beginner: How to Buy Your First Vibrator
Before you order a vibrator you have spotted when browsing through internet pages, you need to know which types of vibrators are available. Source: over 2 years ago
  • Beware the Air Hammer
Lets ban construction workers, because the children will see all the tools and it will promote gun violance, toxic masculinity and 5 other buzzwords from buzzfeed.com nobody gives a shit about. Then we can live in building-free society. Source: over 2 years ago
  • Gunfire erupts after Proud Boys and anti-fascists openly brawl in Portland without police intervention
LOL, your source is the humor blogging site "buzzfeed.com"? Source: over 2 years ago
  • [Hiring] Adult toy company looking for blog/review writer
    1. Desired posting location: your own blog, buzzfeed.com, health.com, shape.com, instyl.com, etc. Source: over 2 years ago
  • LinkCheckBot test thread
!linkcheck this https://buzzfeed.com! Source: over 2 years ago
  • LinkCheckBot test thread
Typical site using third-party ads and tracking: https://buzzfeed.com. Source: over 2 years ago
  • Family lied about vaxx status to meet baby - what now?
Kids didn't catch covid until the vaccine came out. You will say that they have because you've been cloistered for a year only reading buzzfeed .com, but think about it for a second. How many kids do you know personally who got covid before the vaccines came out?? Source: almost 3 years ago
  • Help with a Chrome extension
The first time a user goes to buzzfeed.com, nothing happens. If I refresh the page, then I get an alert ('should be hidden'). Source: almost 3 years ago
  • Go viral on Twitter with old, stolen Tweets
First 800k likes, then 200k likes. Is it just retweets by famous persons? Or do screenshots from the tweet on Instagram and pages like ifunny.co, best-of-twitter.com and buzzfeed.com also have an impact? Source: about 3 years ago
