  • buying a Ibuypower computer
There are websites that let you configure a build with components you buy and assemble that let you know if any aren't compatible with others. You could use as a guideline. https://buildmypc.net/. Source: about 3 years ago
  • Hoping to sell my pc for around $800-1000. Is that reasonable for this build or should I aim lower?
Of course...there's also the risk of something being broken or almost broken. Personally, I'd always buy the parts and build it myself, but some people, old and young, are afraid of venturing into that, and the whole pack might be cheaper than what the buildmypc.net is showing. • How tf do you guys just *do* this
How I did it. 1. Buy all the components and use an online pc part compatibility checker like buildmypc.net 2. Bring it to my local pc repair shop. 3. Pay the man 80 CAD 4. Pick it up 2 days later. Source: over 3 years ago
  • compatibility question

  • I need some help building my pc
I know I still need a power supply (which one should I buy?), do I need something else?, are all my parts compatible? (I checked them on buildmypc.net but some of them weren't available on the site), do you have some advice? Source: over 3 years ago
  • Question about PC parts compatibility
This is a great resource for checking compatibility buildmypc. Source: about 4 years ago
  • is there a build my PC for fpv
I've noticed picking out parts for a new build is a PIA, I was wondering if there was a website like https://buildmypc.net/ where it easily shows all the parts and if they are compatible and shows the lowest prices from reliable sellers. Source: over 4 years ago
  • Ask HN: Build Own PC in 2022?
In about mid-2020, I used sites like https://buildmypc.net/ and https://pcpartpicker.com/, read through some other people's builds around my price point (I was aiming for <$1000), and researched individual components. Ended up building around an AMD Ryzen 5 3600 + Asus Prime X570P, with 32GB of RAM and an Rx580 GPU. Example of a problem you'll have right now: I bought that Sapphire Pulse Rx 580 8GB for the GPU.... - Source: Hacker News / over 4 years ago
  • yo help pls bruh im actually dumb
You can easily determine if this is the case by putting your parts into A PC Part Picker. Source: almost 5 years ago
  • Just gotta say, this is how GameStop will corner the PC casual market, made to order PCs. Don't got time to build? GameStop will do it for you. Bullish AF.
It's almost similar to using this site: https://buildmypc.net/, but buying and letting GME build for you? Source: almost 5 years ago
