  • ISP map?
If service is active at that address, it should be on the FCC Broadband Map, but that has been a bit inconsistent as of late. Another decent option is Broadband Now, but they might not have all the more local ISP options. I can tell you from what I've heard, in most areas Xfinity, CenturyLink Fiber, and StratusIQ Fiber are the only ones with super fast speeds right now. Colorado Springs Utilities is building a... • Cityfolk moving Country... How do you internet?!
I'm going through the process of purchasing a home in the 'country', and broadbandnow.com has been invaluable with its ability to list which internet providers are in the area. I still have to go check the addresses on each of the available provider's sites, but it at least shows me who the local providers are. Source: about 1 year ago

Https://broadbandnow.com/ has a list of all available providers so you can have a better idea of what's around you in case you can find a better choice. I tried 90230 as the zip code and it came up with 8 other providers and 4 smaller residential ones. Source: about 1 year ago

  • New house, no internet. Best way to contact?
Ubiquiti is not an internet service provider. They supply equipment to ISPs who then deploy it to customer. Not sure what resources to offer since it is very dependent on location. https://broadbandnow.com. Source: about 1 year ago

In case you're in the USA, go here: BroadbandNow. Source: about 1 year ago
  • Is there a thread about internet providers in PGH?
Internet providers are not city wide. It depends on your neighborhood, really. You can go to https://broadbandnow.com and enter your zip code and get the available providers. However, not all will have cable run in your neighborhood - you are still going to have to call or go to their websites to see if it is available. Source: over 1 year ago
  • cheapest/best option for internet?
This is entirely based on your location. There are aggregator sites like https://broadbandnow.com/ that will let you find what is available in your area and/or building. Source: over 1 year ago
  • Spectrum only available on one side of a highway?
I've got family that lives a few miles outside of a small town. Looking at a coverage map of the area on broadbandnow.com, it seems that the other side of the highway my family lives on is covered, but not the side they live on. ie, the boundary seems to run along the highway. It says that addresses across the street are served but addresses on their side of the street aren't. Source: over 1 year ago

Enter your zip code at https://broadbandnow.com and see what options you have for other ISPs. Obviously a fiber offering would be best but if that’s not available, check to see if T-Mobile Home Internet (5G) or Verizon 5G Home Internet is available. It will help to know what competitive options exist. Source: almost 2 years ago

Also for home phone I use magicjack and it's not bad at all, I've even used it during remote business calls at times. Ooma is another good home phone option. Source: almost 2 years ago
