Bionic Forms is a local-first business app platform. It replaces Microsoft Access, FileMaker and Lotus Notes, and the shared spreadsheet two people keep overwriting.
You describe what you keep records of, in plain English, and the app is built around it: forms, the links between them, the screens that follow those links, and the access rules. Automations are written the same way - one sentence, read back to you in words, and tried on a real record before it is switched on.
It runs as a small encrypted app on your own machine. The network is a convenience, not a requirement: fill in job sheets on a laptop with no signal, and everyone copies merge when you are back. There is a browser version too, which does need a connection.
Flat pricing, unlimited users, no per-seat charge at any tier. The free plan has unlimited apps.
What it is NOT: there is no scripting language and no escape hatch to code. Automation is a fixed catalogue - seven things can start one, eight can happen as a result, and anything outside it is refused rather than run. An application whose value lives in procedural code is a poor fit, and we would rather say so here than waste your afternoon.
