  • Tired of seeing all these articles about how Ohtani to the Dodgers is "good for baseball"
The entire homepage on mlb.com was Ohtani Ohtani Ohtani. Its ridiculous. The rest of mlb does still exist. Source: over 2 years ago
  • Why do articles keep saying we need one or more sluggers, donโ€™t we need consistent contact bats? Like several .300 hitters?
Per mlb.com, he average position player had a slash line of .248/.320/.414 So if we can find a guy that gets on base 1/3 of the time, he's above average and our sluggers can do more damage. Incidentally, Urias' career OBP is .333 and Rojas' is .329, both above average OBP guys. Source: over 2 years ago
  • [RochKubatko] Could Orioles pivot away from trying for a No. 1 starter and lower expectations?
If you were wondering- that adds up to mlb.com (easist to look up) having this team having 6 top 50 prospects (1 holliday, 14 cowser, 24 kjerstad, 27 mayo, 46 basallo, 50 ortiz.... And at least another 5 with good cases to be top 100- Norby, beavers, povich, mcdermott, bradfield). That is the top of a system that already spat out Gunnar, Grayson, Cano, bautista and Adley in the last 2 years, and some control left... Source: over 2 years ago
  • Why does Philly concert say "internet concert"?
I'm looking into buying tickets on mlb.com (the concert will be at the Phillies stadium) but they all say 'internet concert' and I don't understand what that means, nor does it explain anywhere. Does anyone know? Source: over 2 years ago
  • How do you baseball in the offseason?
I collect baseball cards, tune into MLB network, mlb.com, Pirates social media, and countdown the days till Spring Training. Source: over 2 years ago
  • CBS Sports Power Rankings has the O's at #2, ahead of the Rays!
This week's mlb.com Power Rankings disrespect the O's and place them #5 behind #3 Texas and #4 Arizona. Source: almost 3 years ago
  • Game Chat: 7/7 Braves (58-28) @ Rays (57-33) 6:40 PM
I think when it goes to "warmup" on mlb.com the stream starts .. But who knows. Source: almost 3 years ago
  • Day 2 of MLB draft 2023
It airs on mlb.com, so if you have any access to that while you work, you can follow along there. Source: almost 3 years ago
  • MLB TV Blackout
Anyone else have the "free game of the day" on mlb.com blacked out. I live in California and it's been happening all series. Every other series works fine outside of the 2 local teams (Dodgers/Angels) but those make sense. Thanks. Source: almost 3 years ago
  • Corey Seager just wants to be great at baseball, and he's better than ever
That makes way more sense. I got that from a mlb.com article. I was like, um no way. Source: about 3 years ago
  • POSTGAME THREAD: D-backs @ Giants, 6/25. Join the Giants game / baseball discussion and social thread!
I went to mlb.com to grab a Dodgers gameday tab and saw the image was Mookie trotting the bases... And an Astros lead 1-4. Source: about 3 years ago
  • No more SNY
I'm not NYC local, but the single-team mlb.com option has been good for me. Source: about 3 years ago

Pretty sure mlb.com streams the radio broadcast for every game for free, fwiw. Source: about 3 years ago
  • MLB Dingers and Props - 6/21/23 (Wednesday)
So I was thinking of streaming on Kick. Prop bets. Basically stream the ballgames and have my bet slip up, sorta a way to kick it, watch the games and chill. • Ohtani is the only qualified player with a 1.000+ OPS!
I looked at the stats in mlb.com, so they should be updated. Source: about 3 years ago
  • Ozzie Albies walks off the Mets with a 3-run homer in the bottom of the 10th!
I think he looked at the box score on mlb.com. Because the game was 10 innings, it cuts off the first inning, so if you start counting from the 2nd inning,it looks like the Mets were up 9-2 after the top of the 5th and 10-3 after the top of the 6th. Source: about 3 years ago
  • Sportsbook/Promos/Bonuses Daily - 6/8/23 (Thursday)
According to mlb.com, Strider's first pitch was exactly 96.5 mph and Verlander's was a measly 91.9 mph, meaning the bet lost. Source: about 3 years ago
  • Gameday Thread 6/8/23 Giants (Cobb) @ Rockies (Anderson) 12:10 PM
Mlb.com says 12:10 (well it says 3:10 because they can't be bothered to localize to timezones). Source: about 3 years ago
  • PRE GAME THREAD: Twins (31-30) @ Rays (44-19) - June 7, 2023
Yeah, on the Twins mlb.com board in the 2000s I was always trying to stay positive. I used to like everything about the Twins (players, coaches, ect.) becauase that was the "Twins way" and I thought that was what it was to be a fan. I don't believe that so much anymore. I can still love my 1991 Twins, and dislike most of what this team is made of right now. Source: about 3 years ago
