Per mlb.com, he average position player had a slash line of .248/.320/.414 So if we can find a guy that gets on base 1/3 of the time, he's above average and our sluggers can do more damage. Incidentally, Urias' career OBP is .333 and Rojas' is .329, both above average OBP guys. Source: over 2 years ago
If you were wondering- that adds up to mlb.com (easist to look up) having this team having 6 top 50 prospects (1 holliday, 14 cowser, 24 kjerstad, 27 mayo, 46 basallo, 50 ortiz.... And at least another 5 with good cases to be top 100- Norby, beavers, povich, mcdermott, bradfield). That is the top of a system that already spat out Gunnar, Grayson, Cano, bautista and Adley in the last 2 years, and some control left... Source: over 2 years ago
I'm looking into buying tickets on mlb.com (the concert will be at the Phillies stadium) but they all say 'internet concert' and I don't understand what that means, nor does it explain anywhere. Does anyone know? Source: over 2 years ago

Anyone else have the "free game of the day" on mlb.com blacked out. I live in California and it's been happening all series. Every other series works fine outside of the 2 local teams (Dodgers/Angels) but those make sense. Thanks. Source: almost 3 years ago
That makes way more sense. I got that from a mlb.com article. I was like, um no way. Source: about 3 years ago

I think he looked at the box score on mlb.com. Because the game was 10 innings, it cuts off the first inning, so if you start counting from the 2nd inning,it looks like the Mets were up 9-2 after the top of the 5th and 10-3 after the top of the 6th. Source: about 3 years ago

Yeah, on the Twins mlb.com board in the 2000s I was always trying to stay positive. I used to like everything about the Twins (players, coaches, ect.) becauase that was the "Twins way" and I thought that was what it was to be a fan. I don't believe that so much anymore. I can still love my 1991 Twins, and dislike most of what this team is made of right now. Source: about 3 years ago
