We have tracked the following product recommendations or mentions on various public social media platforms and blogs. They can help you see what people think about Backloggery and what they use it for.
  • How do you keep track of the games you've played, and the games you want to play?
I use Backloggery which is more aimed towards playing the games you have and clearing your backlog. Source: 11 months ago
  • letterboxd/goodreads but for games?
I havent used all these, so your milage may vary, but I was looking for a similar thing not long ago. Https://www.backloggd.com Https://rawg.io Https://wetheplayers.com Https://www.grouvee.com/ Https://gamelib.app/explore Https://backloggery.com/ Https://playnite.link/ There's also just using a spreadsheet, or Notion with a good template. • How many years has your Trails journey spanned?
There are websites like howlongtobeat.com or backloggery.com that let you track individual game status. You can write down ratings or when you started/finished a game and it tracks that. I've used backloggery.com for 10+ years so it was really easy to grab the dates I played Trails with it. Source: about 1 year ago
  • Does anyone use any game tracking apps?
For game tracking, try The Backloggery! Source: over 1 year ago
  • I dont know how many games I beat this year and I'm happy about it
People often use sites like HowLongToBeat, Backloggery, or Backloggd. Source: over 1 year ago
  • Is there a good website or app to compile all the games from every console and platform I have?
I personally use Backloggery (https://backloggery.com/) its more interesting than an excel, the only downside is that doesn't have a database and you have to add every game manually. Source: over 1 year ago
  • After I built I PC I basically lost all motivation to play anything.
Yeah I definitely think you have choice paralysis/overload. The only way to solve it, at least for me, is to make a list. Go to howlongtobeat or backloggery or whatever you prefer. Personally, I use howlongtobeat. Make a list of games you're interested in, hit randomize, and stick to whatever it lands on. Play for 1 or 2 hours, if you like it keep playing and if you dont move on. The process is hard to start but... Source: over 1 year ago
  • This may have been done before. But the meme is funny
I can't understand why Steam still hasn't implemented basic backloggery-style game tracking features. Would make managing your game collection and following your gameplay so much more enjoyable. Source: over 1 year ago
  • Is there anything like "collections of games" or "playlists"?
You can try to use https://isthereanydeal.com/waitlist/ and share that list after making it public or you may even try to make games list on sites like https://backloggery.com/ and share that either but compared to Steam Curation Lists, these will take more time to compile. Maybe you can use Steam Profile Custom Info box to write down all games you suggest as a text. Source: over 1 year ago
  • Looking for a way to "wishlist" games across subscription services.
Tool you asked? There are sites like https://backloggery.com/ to keep track of games, not specific for your request but will get the job done. You already have done half of your research so there's nothing much more but this time to do your Cost/Benefit Analysis as I tried to explain above. Also never forget that this is -Rental- gaming so you try to pay as least as possible as otherwise it's insane to pay $15 to... Source: over 1 year ago
  • digital Games
I don't use the site, but backloggery.com is a game tracking site. Source: over 1 year ago
  • For those of you with huge backlogs, how do you choose your next game?
Backloggery has a "fortune cookie" page where you can have it randomly select a game from your collection (you can limit it to only unplayed/unfinished games and/or by platform/console). Playnite has a similar feature for PC games (even if you're not interested in "randomly pick a game for me," I highly recommend checking it out if you have a large collection on multiple PC game retailers, and/or if you've ever... • all the games I've completed this year. plus the ones I've played through this year. any suggestions to what I should play? I'm also online on xbox and switch so far, getting online for ps4 soon if anyone wants to play. <3
Not a game suggestion, but if you hadn't already, check out backloggery.com or howlongtobeat.com to track your game progress/completion. Source: over 1 year ago
  • Let’s Talk About IGN Playlist
Backloggery.com has existed for a long time, and I believe is already better than this. IGN is just copy/pasting someone else's work again. Source: about 2 years ago
  • 188 GAMES!!
Enter them all into Backloggery and use the “fortune cookie” feature to select one at random. Source: about 2 years ago
  • A “what to play” app?
Https://backloggery.com/ is probably close to what you're looking for, but I have not used it myself. Source: about 2 years ago
  • Do you finish your games?
I keep track of my backlog on Backloggery, and currently 33.1% of my library is either unplayed or uncompleted. Source: over 2 years ago
  • Do you finish your games?
I tend to finish about 2/3 of my games. After I started logging on backloggery.com I got more intent on finishing my games. Source: over 2 years ago
  • What do you have too much of?
I can't tell you how to find a random number generator generator, but if you'll settle for a pre-generated random number generator for games, the Backloggery has their "fortune cookie" RNG. Make an account, fill in your backlog, and get a fortune cookie while keeping track of unfinished, beaten, and cleared games. Source: over 2 years ago
  • So how do you guys actually move on and play a game in your backlog instead of just looking at your library and being paralyzed by choice?
Backloggery is an amazing site. Highly recommend it. Get's all your games in order and you can see what you have. Source: over 2 years ago
  • Japanese game collecting question
I collect Japanese games as well. I use GameFAQs since I've had an account since high school and most of the games have a selectable Japanese version on there. I don't really worry too much about the financial aspects, so I can't speak to that side of things, but another one of my friends uses Backloggery, which is more about cataloging and reminding you to play the games you buy. If Pricetracking or something... Source: over 2 years ago
