Actually using CHROME + https://augmentedsteam.com/ is the BEST experience that you can ever obtain in your Lifetime at the moment because https://developer.valvesoftware.com/wiki/Chromium_Embedded_Framework is long time proven to be "Broken" against other websites, Steam UI overhaul removed CEF UI for Electron UI that even Back button is now broken from time to time, there's NO Ad blocking and other extensions on... This is why I use the store from my browser with the augmented steam addon. Source: 5 months ago
This addon solves it. Has many great features: https://augmentedsteam.com/. Source: 5 months ago
I use it with their browser plugin Augmented Steam: https://augmentedsteam.com/ (you can use with Chrome, Firefox, Edge). Source: 5 months ago
Seriously. I've saved so much money thanks to ITAD (and, by extension, Augmented Steam) since Steam is not often the site offering the lowest price. Even now with the Summer Sale going on, most of the games I'm interested in are cheaper on Green Man Gaming, GameBillet, and Fanatical. Anyone who isn't using ITAD to track sales is a bit of a fool. And you can check this either by using SteamDB like https://steamdb.info/app/546560/ to learn the percentage difference after setting your currency and checking the other currency or simply install https://augmentedsteam.com/ that does the same thing but more pretty. Source: 10 months ago
Which version of Search are you talking about because there are now at least 3 versions. Original is https://store.steampowered.com/search/ and it still works solid with lots of improvements over the year, mostly addition of https://augmentedsteam.com/ search options into it. And this works as good as you know how to create good keywords instead of feeding it words like 'the', 'with' etc. Source: 11 months ago
Here you go. This is all I use for browsing Steam now. I have Playnite handling the launcher side of things. My client only ever gets used in the background, or when I'm confirming an install/uninstall. Source: 11 months ago
I use my browser to view the Steam Store. I have Augmented Steam, SteamDB Extension, and PCGamingWiki Extenstion. Makes viewing Games on Steam, much better. I mainly use Firefox but I'm sure they also have it on Chrome and Edge. Source: 11 months ago
Good but it's for the very green customers that never know about r/GameDeals, https://steamdb.info/sales/, https://isthereanydeal.com/ and the most important of all https://augmentedsteam.com/. Source: 11 months ago
Only novice users use the Steam client as is (vanilla) because all the Pro Steam users know the importance of https://augmentedsteam.com/ (modded) to never use Steam itself for anything important since Steam is mainly a website rather than the client which is a browser itself. Source: 11 months ago
But.. If you visit Steam in a browser; I'd recommend checking out "Augmented Steam". It has so many nice features and makes sure you don't miss all the important info (like DRM and such). Source: 12 months ago
You should installed https://augmentedsteam.com/ into your browser. It will display games that have Denuvo DRM or not, as well as display the locations of shops with the lowest price for the game you're looking up. Source: 12 months ago
You can get plain search results for a dev's games on Steam by putting their name at the end of the URL https://store.steampowered.com/search/?developer= - that's how the dev's link works when they don't have a developer page set up. Just be warned that it's case-sensitive AND it doesn't accept partial searches, so it's smarter to copy/paste the studio's whole name directly from a game page. For publishers, just... Check isthereanydeal.com or use their Augmented Steam plugin to find the lowest prices in licensed key shops. Source: 12 months ago
In terms of Steam.exe, no there are no other ways and in fact thank you for making me checking on that skin that I've never heard of. But this doesn't mean there isn't any solution as it's as "Easy" as use your Chrome + https://augmentedsteam.com/ (lots of features, some auto blocking annoyance) + https://ublockorigin.com/ (Element Picker to get rid of ANY little thing you don't want to see in any page) +... As user snusnu perfectly explained to you, you're totally MIS-remembering things maybe confusing some players created "tricks" to take notes like https://augmentedsteam.com/ gives that option per game, not for Library but for Store pages. Source: about 1 year ago
In future they will. Steam follows the footsteps of https://augmentedsteam.com/ as you know how Steam Search changed now including price range and stuff? That's all thanks to that extension was doing that before they inspired Steam for the change. Source: about 1 year ago
These are from addons. I have SteamDB and Augmented Steam installed on my browser. If turned off the bloated functions and setting only these You want to, it's very useful. Source: about 1 year ago
If you want to add a custom amount to your wallet, and not just the presets that Steam gives you, you can use the Augmented Steam browser extension to add funds. Still has to be a minimum of $5 to be added though. Source: about 1 year ago
You can do that with a combination of Digital Gift Cards and Augmented Steam that puts custom amounts in that page visiting on Chrome or Firefox. So after installing augmented on Chrome, ask Google for daily exchange rates (currently 27.72CAD = 20USD) so enter that amount & recipient will get the $20 (cents can differ) as you wanted.
