Even your text messages (non-iMessages) can't be read at att.com (they can see times of numbers texted/called and length of phone calls). Source: 5 months ago
If you go to att.com, and price 1 line vs 2, you will see that the price drops per line. So going from 2 to 1 won't save you 1/2. Source: 7 months ago
Look up the promo on att.com and make absolutely sure that you meet all of the requirements including the plan requirements, max value of the promo (most promos only give you a maximum value which usually only covers the bottom of the rung phone), and the date that the promo ends (this can be harder to figure out). I've looked at my att.com account online as well as my cell phone's ATT app but haven't found an option to successfully get a replacement PIN. The latter would be the key to successfully transitioning from AT&T to another carrier, I believe?! Source: 10 months ago
The requests to complete surveys is out of control. In the past three days, I have been asked to complete an online survey for the following 1) quick oil change place, 2) Target order pickup, 3) utility company regarding service call, 4) my online visit to att.com looking into phone upgrade, and the best, my personal favorite, 5) my bank asking how my recent ATM visit went. I have it in writing from the "digitial integrated solutions representative" who sold my company wireless service I received the breakdown including all promotions/bonuses from an @ att.com email address. If its bogus the att employee lied using his work e-mail when providing the quote to switch. Sounds like fraud. I believe it was a "private offer". Source: 10 months ago
It's really crazy that that with all the buttons you see at att.com on your account overview page (oin a desktop) is "Manage Plan" which really just dumps you into change plan (but lists it if you click) or if you scroll way down to Manage which is right below see all usage. Then there is then a See plan details & usage button. Source: 10 months ago
PSA: If they have switched you to the Firstnet and Family program. Where you login with an att.com account. There are options under Profile > Privacy Choices to turn off data sharing for your account. I sent a note to the FN Authority that I think they should step in and tell ATT they can't do this to FN accounts, but I'm not holding my breath... Source: 11 months ago
So with all that, you can see that rewardscenter.att.com is part of att.com - which we all know is the main domain used by AT&T Corp. Source: 11 months ago
Ok that's great for USM customers. What about regular blokes like me who just use att.com ? Source: 11 months ago
For at least a few months now they finally provided a way to get the account number. If you logged in via att.com, the account number showed up there. Then when you continued, it led you to paygoonline.com. But it is an improvement. Source: 11 months ago
About three weeks ago. I just looked and that offer may not be available right now. When it was, you would see something like "Any Galaxy Phone, Any Condition" in the advertisement at att.com. Source: 12 months ago
It looks like there is a specific issue with routing to Google. Ping to att.com, apple.com, amazon.com, aws.com, microsoft.com are all 100ms or less. Any Google service I ping is 3500 to 4000 ms. Source: 12 months ago
How are you blocking it? In your phone settings or at att.com ? Source: about 1 year ago
I saw the offer for an iPhone SE 2022 for $249 with activation at Walmart both on the ATT website and the in-store displays at my local Walmart. I tried to buy & activate at two Walmarts and they both say they do not activate ATT prepaid, so there is no way to get the advertised offer. On a whim, I stopped by my nearest ATT corporate store, they say they know nothing about the offer (despite it being on the... Source: about 1 year ago
I actually don't mind the prepaid account management site. It works leaps and bounds when compared to att.com. Only thing that irritates me now is the disabling of the self service device update page. Source: about 1 year ago
I heard all the horror stories about mailing back your trade in for the s23 ultra, so I took it into a store. That was Feb 19th, and I still don't have an updated status on att.com. Should I be worried? My wife has lost the receipt showing we turned it in. I have a bad feeling I am screwed. Any ideas? Source: about 1 year ago
Your problem arose because the AT&T modem, often a brand like Arris, detects that there is no internet connection and intercepts these outgoing HTTPS connection attempts. Instead of not responding at all, which I argue is the more secure option, the Arris modem responds with a so-called "self-signed" certificate--named this way because the certificate was not issued by a trusted certificate authority like the real... So I currently have a s22 on a installment plan with bill credits (total cost is 0$ after credits). If I try and trade in via att.com it tells me I have to pay ~$200 to upgrade. Source: about 1 year ago
I tested the internet connectivity by going to ipv6-test.com, which shows that I can't connect over IPv4. I can also connect to Google properties (GMail, etc.) which I know support IPv6 (I used to work on Google networking) but not to most other websites (e.g. att.com) because they only have IPv4 addresses. I thin that the IPv4 issue also explains the MMS trouble as there's probably no IPv6 address for the MMS... Source: about 1 year ago
And yet ATT treats their Prepaid service different (account pin) and Postpaid (you request a dedicated porting PIN) differently. Also, ATT doesn't display the account number for Prepaid if you go straight to the paygoonline.com web site. You have to have configured access via att.com by verifying your email address.
