Ask Linc is a financial AI with zero tolerance for made-up math. Connect your finances, explore different scenarios, and get answers you can trust by seeing the data, calculations, and reasoning behind them.
A startup from San Francisco, the United States that is founded by Ethan Teng.
This page is designed to help you find out whether Ask Linc is good and if it is the right choice for you.
Ask Linc is an AI financial planning assistant built for the money questions a pretty dashboard can’t answer.
Connect your finances, then ask what you’re actually trying to figure out: “Can I afford to retire early?” “What happens if I buy this house?” “How much could I safely spend each year?” “What if markets fall right after I retire?”
Ask Linc helps you reason through the decision, runs the numbers, and lets you change the assumptions to see what happens.
Unlike a traditional personal finance app, Ask Linc isn’t mainly about tracking spending or showing charts. And unlike a general-purpose AI assistant, it doesn’t just look at your financial data and generate a plausible-sounding answer.
The AI handles the reasoning. The financial calculations are handled separately, using structured data, validated calculations, and current market and economic inputs where appropriate.
Ask Linc also shows its work and double-checks the math. You can see the assumptions, calculations, and data behind an answer instead of having to trust whatever the AI says.
The goal is simple: help you think through complex financial decisions with AI, without asking you to blindly trust the numbers.
