Daily devotional for Christian couples: a verse, a question that opens once you have both answered, and prayer for each other. Spanish, English and Portuguese.
A startup from Colombia.
This page is designed to help you find out whether Amare is good and if it is the right choice for you.
Amaré is a daily devotional for Christian couples, built around five minutes a day together.
How it works - A verse a day to start from the same place. - One question for both of you. Each partner answers on their own phone, and the answers open only once you have both written. No one adjusts their answer to the other's. - Pray for each other. Send a short prayer and see when your partner prayed for you.
Made for real couples - Dating, engaged, married, with kids or long distance: the questions adapt to your stage. - Long-distance couples in different time zones share the same day and the same question. - Bilingual couples can each read in their own language inside the same thread (Spanish, English, Portuguese).
Private by design Only your partner sees your answers. No ads, and you can delete your account and all data at any time.
Available on iOS and Android.

Privacy for Couples
Apps like Amare often emphasize private, secure spaces for couples to communicate and share moments, which can appeal to users looking for a more intimate alternative to public social media platforms.
Engagement Features
Such apps typically include interactive features like daily questions, love notes, or relationship challenges designed to help couples stay connected and deepen their emotional bond over time.
Cross-Platform Accessibility
If Amare is available on both iOS and Android, this allows couples using different phone operating systems to still connect and use the app together seamlessly.
Both partners answer the same question on their own phones, and the answers open only once you have both written. That simple rule makes answers honest instead of adjusted to the other person, and it turns a devotional into a real conversation. Amaré also works across languages: each partner can read in Spanish, English or Portuguese inside the same thread.
Amaré is built by a solo developer in Medellín, Colombia. Before launch, seven couples tested it for a week and shaped the final version. Their feedback is why the questions adapt to each relationship stage and why each partner can use the app in their own language.
Most couples apps are either general relationship quizzes or solo Bible apps. Amaré is built for Christian couples specifically: a verse, one question and prayer for each other in five minutes a day. It adapts to your stage (dating, engaged, married, parents, long distance), keeps long-distance couples on the same day across time zones, and has no ads.
Christian couples who want to grow in faith together but find it hard to start: dating, engaged and married couples, parents with little time, and long-distance or bilingual couples. Most of our users are Spanish-speaking couples in Latin America and the US.
