Rectangle: This free app is a lifesaver for window snapping on Mac OS. I can customize the hotkeys so that pressing Command + arrow keys snaps the window accordingly. Plus, if I drag a window to the bottom corner, it snaps to 1/3 of the screen, and if I do it at the top corner, it snaps to 2/3 of the screen. It's perfect for multitasking! .

Better Touch Tool (BTT): This app is a productivity powerhouse. It's customizable to a fault, with functionality to program keyboard shortcuts, trackpad gestures, notch, touch bar, mouse, and more. Personally, I use it to add more trackpad gestures, take screenshots and save them to my clipboard by pressing Command-Shift-S, and view my clipboard history by pressing Command-Shift-V (just like in Windows!). I've also changed it so that pressing the green full-screen button on a window maximizes it instead of opening it in a full-screen desktop. Here's a screenshot of all the shortcuts I've set up so far:.
