Tails

If no, then go for a secure messaging application. I’d recommend you use XMPP on tails with the OTR add on. Tails is a very solid os used by journalists, drug dealers and whistleblowers. It’s recommended you install it on a usb. It automatically removes any data stored on it after shutting off. It (almost) doesn’t leave any traces, and it’s very easy to hide/ destroy a small usb in case of arrest/search. Read more about it here https://tails.boum.org/.
