  3. MetaCrawler is a free-to-use search engine that allows you to find information from the world internet.
Nice. Earlier this week after trying a fairly simple search query that would have been a cinch to find actual web pages that talked about my topic, Google, DuckDuckGo, Yahoo, all failed big time. I mean, the majority of the first twenty results didn't even contain my first search term. I went looking for "old school" search engines that might still adhere to boolean search rules, and most of the classics either no longer exist or just use one of the big companies index with their own questionable results algorithm. I forgot about metacrawler.com, and am glad they've survived.

Federated link aggregator and Reddit alternative built with Rust
Spend a little time looking into the Fediverse. It's a number of applications by many people using technology that lets them share between each other. Use a microblogging (like twitter) platform to like an image on an image sharing service (like instagram) if you want kind of stuff. There's even reddit clones, such as Lemmy.

    - You doubled down on the default Google search engine being something you should use for reliable sources. You know what's insane? I'd actually reccomend Google Scholar for that. Isn't it crazy how they literally developed an ENTIRELY SEPARATE engine for searching reputable sources, but you were that confident that you should just chuck all your academic inquiries into that big stupid google.com search bar. You continue to demonstrate your immense depth of knowledge on these topics.
