You message the scammer and they explain to you (in broken English) how cryptocurrencies work. They then ask you to visit changelly.com and to submit $500 to a specific Bitcoin wallet, and of course they claim they'll invest it and grow it for you. All lies.

Here's the kicker though. I looked up that address on the "Bitcoin Explorer" on blockchain.com and it said the wallet had brought in $52,000 since November, the same month the Instagram account began. Quite a haul for the scammer, right? I then looked on that website and noticed that all of the money was transferred after each transaction to a second wallet.
