  Short side will be my next undertaking. I think it wont work since I keep a log of shortable status at time of trade and there's rarely stocks I can short that my algo picks. This could be due to the platform I use alpaca.markets but assume things wouldnt vary much other places and alpaca api makes all this possible for me so probably wont go anywhere else.
