Questions & Answers

As answered by people managing AgentMesh.
  1. How would you describe the primary audience of AgentMesh?

Freelance automation consultants and small agencies who build automations for SMB clients.

They hit a ceiling with rules-based tools when a task needs judgement, and they don't want to host and babysit a server to get past it. The thing they can't do today is answer "what did your bot actually do, and why did it cost that?" โ€” which is the question a client always asks.

  2. What makes AgentMesh unique?

Every run leaves a receipt. You see each step's input, output, duration, token count and real cost โ€” a support ticket triaged and answered comes to about $0.0144. Most platforms show you the clever part and hide the rest.

There's a complete run published at agent-mesh.org/example, no signup needed, including a run that failed. A demo that only shows the happy path is a black box with better lighting.

Pricing is flat: $29/month, not per task, per credit or per seat.

  3. Why should a person choose AgentMesh over its competitors?

Two reasons, and one reason not to.

Cost doesn't escalate. Zapier meters tasks, Make meters credits, Lindy charges per user. AgentMesh is $29/month whatever you run. Bring your own OpenAI or Anthropic key and the daily limits stop applying entirely โ€” on most platforms your own key still burns their credits.

You can show a client what happened. Every step and every cent is on screen, and any run replays with one click.

Where it loses: about 10 integrations against Zapier's 9,000. If you need a specific connector, use Zapier. AgentMesh is for the work that needs a judgement call, not just wiring.

  4. What's the story behind AgentMesh?

One engineer, no funding, no team. I built it because rules-based automation kept failing on the steps that needed a decision, and the alternatives were either self-hosting or writing and babysitting the code myself.

I publish real run costs and real failures because I got tired of demos that only work in the demo. I'd rather someone see a failed run before signing up than after.

  5. Which are the primary technologies used for building AgentMesh?

Python and FastAPI on the backend, PostgreSQL, Redis and Celery for scheduling and background runs. React, TypeScript and Tailwind on the front end. Docker throughout.
