• Where can I find mass market paperback books online?

  Have you not searched for used book sites? There are so many and you can definitely get the size of paperback you want at usually good prices. Eg betterworldbooks.com wob.com, abebooks.com etc etc. Source: over 2 years ago

  Hi - my 2 primary sites to find publications are amazon.com and abebooks.com. I've found used copies of reference books on both sites. Since I collect Australia, I also watch the Australian auction site. I've found some great books in auctions. Of course, the shipping sometimes is more than the book. • Hannover 1840 A Thaler, appears to be KM# 192 by all appearances however the weight is listed as 16.82g - my coin weighs 21.9g.

  Found an old hardcover 1980 edition of this on abebooks.com ran me just under $15 total shipped from Germany! I'm mainly interested in better info on the 1800's coins, which I'm guessing was pretty well sorted by 1980, so should still be a good extra resource to have. Source: about 3 years ago

  If you need to study up in calculating LC values, then I recommend an older book titled, "High Frequency Circuit Design", by James Hardy. It dates from the 1979 time frame but is still apropos to discrete circuit design. You can find used copies online but I usually see best prices on used books over on abebooks.com.   Expanding the full information for the paperback copy, I see the publisher to be Digireads.com Publishing. To be honest, I would not buy a book from such a publisher. Typically, I look for publishers that provide serious introductions, notes - particularly where justified for historical novels or ones from a past era, or by an author writing in a different language than English. • Question about eBay seller

  That's interesting... I ran into similar behaviour once on abebooks.com where the dealer listed a book at a price and then ordered the book on my behalf from a second dealer. The second dealer's copy was atrocious, and the one from the first dealer was listed as 'near fine'. Guess it is no surprise it would happen on ebay too... Source: over 3 years ago

• Has anyone else noticed this when buying used books online?

  I read a lot and buy quite a bit of used books for myself and to give away. I have waaay more problems with orders with Catholic bibles and books from the major online used booksellers than non-religious book orders. Has anyone else run in to this? Sometimes they'll process refunds or returns and other times they refuse. They'll send completely different books, not send all of the books, or send damaged ones. I've... Source: over 3 years ago
