Have you not searched for used book sites? There are so many and you can definitely get the size of paperback you want at usually good prices. Eg betterworldbooks.com wob.com, abebooks.com etc etc. Source: over 2 years ago
New Directions for Strings Teacher's Manual Book 2 [Soft Cover ] ($29.75 on abebooks.com because on Amazon it was like $40 something I think). Source: almost 3 years ago
Hi - my 2 primary sites to find publications are amazon.com and abebooks.com. I've found used copies of reference books on both sites. Since I collect Australia, I also watch the Australian auction site. I've found some great books in auctions. Of course, the shipping sometimes is more than the book. I also use eBay, but for some reason, the publications I look for are not as commonly found there. Source: about 3 years ago
Found an old hardcover 1980 edition of this on abebooks.com ran me just under $15 total shipped from Germany! I'm mainly interested in better info on the 1800's coins, which I'm guessing was pretty well sorted by 1980, so should still be a good extra resource to have. Source: about 3 years ago
A lot of my money's gone to abebooks.com now that I can stay focussed all the way through a book. Source: about 3 years ago
Abebooks.com is my go-to source for used books if you want to purchase. Source: about 3 years ago
All the books are out of print, so you'll need to use abebooks.com or some other resource to get them. I've reread the series several times. Source: about 3 years ago
Keep an eye out for it on sites like AbeBooks and other similar sites where rare books are sold. You could also try contacting an antique book dealer who might be able to use their network of connections in the industry to find the book. Source: about 3 years ago
If you need to study up in calculating LC values, then I recommend an older book titled, "High Frequency Circuit Design", by James Hardy. It dates from the 1979 time frame but is still apropos to discrete circuit design. You can find used copies online but I usually see best prices on used books over on abebooks.com. Yeah, same. I ended up getting an old, inexpensive copy from abebooks.com. Source: about 3 years ago
I looked up a few of the titles on abebooks.com and Amazon, and a some of these books are selling for like 80$ or 100$. I unfortunately have a job and do not have time to sell them individually on Amazon or Ebay. Source: about 3 years ago
I collect first edition / first printings of rare science fiction from the 60s/70s/80s. I've found abebooks.com and alibris.com to both be excellent when trying to find obscure pieces. Source: over 3 years ago
I reccomend abebooks.com for torah commentaries on a budget! I've purchased some lovely ones for my queer torah group there. Source: over 3 years ago
Expanding the full information for the paperback copy, I see the publisher to be Digireads.com Publishing. To be honest, I would not buy a book from such a publisher. Typically, I look for publishers that provide serious introductions, notes - particularly where justified for historical novels or ones from a past era, or by an author writing in a different language than English. I look for good, used copies most... Source: over 3 years ago
Any of the books by Anthony De Mello (Try https://abebooks.com). Source: over 3 years ago
That's interesting... I ran into similar behaviour once on abebooks.com where the dealer listed a book at a price and then ordered the book on my behalf from a second dealer. The second dealer's copy was atrocious, and the one from the first dealer was listed as 'near fine'. Guess it is no surprise it would happen on ebay too... Source: over 3 years ago
It's out of print but you should be able to find it on ebay or abebooks.com. Source: over 3 years ago
i've seen german, french and even italian editions on abebooks.com but the shipping really blows. You might want to at least make a note of the bookstores that sell those and then try contacting them directly to check for a cheaper shipping option. Source: over 3 years ago
There is a website I love to use abebooks.com -- it connects to second hand bookstores all over the world and allows you to buy books through them. give it a try! Source: over 3 years ago
I read a lot and buy quite a bit of used books for myself and to give away. I have waaay more problems with orders with Catholic bibles and books from the major online used booksellers than non-religious book orders. Has anyone else run in to this? Sometimes they'll process refunds or returns and other times they refuse. They'll send completely different books, not send all of the books, or send damaged ones. I've... Source: over 3 years ago
The library, hoopla (for comics), or abebooks.com for used books. Older books especially are great to get on here. Granted that you have the ISBN on hand. Source: over 3 years ago
